Cody’s Belly Bites was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when I converted a van into a mobile kitchen, delivering fresh, homemade meals to frontline workers across Chicago. Even after opening and closing a restaurant while pregnant during uncertain times, I kept going. What began as affordable meal plates in underserved communities grew into a full-service private chef and catering company operating from a licensed commercial kitchen. Today, we cater weddings, corporate events, and intimate gatherings with heart, excellence, and purpose — always serving food made with love.

Launched in 2020, Tricky Foods continues to delight customers with tasty charcuterie and artistic food displays. We have cute charcuterie cups for individuals, boxes, and a variety of platters (brunch, charcuterie, fruit, veggie, caprese skewer) that are perfect for cocktail hours and getting ready before the wedding too! We have provided grazing tables for 20-2,000 people, with 40+ items, that will WOW the eyes of your guests and fill their bellies!
