We rented flowers through Something Borrowed Blooms and went with the Jane collection. Flowers were lower on our tier of priorities, so this worked well for us. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.

Mak's Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Pasadena, CA
  • Starts at $500

I absolutely LOVE being around flowers, and learning how to design and sell arrangements seemed like the best way I could spend more time around them, AND it’s a real treat that I get to share their beauty with others. Floral arrangements are generally considered a luxury because of how expensive they can be and it is important to me to make them more accessible. In addition to floral design services I also offer workshops and DIY flowers, which can be really fun activities for pre-wedding parties!

Makenna did flowers for my wedding and they were so gorgeous, lush, and whimsical. I was drawn to her style because it was a bit more organic than the typically stuffy arrangements one sees and she exceeded all expectations. Makenna has a keen eye for delicate details - the boutonnieres, bouquets and centerpieces were all gorgeous. The flowers are also typically sourced locally and in-season, which I thought was really cool! Additionally, her services were very affordable. I would HIGHLY recommend Mak's Flowers.

Emblem Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Pasadena, CA

Emblem's mission is to inspire and heal the human heart through the beauty of flowers. We are a boutique floral design studio based in Pasadena, CA. We love translating our clients' vision into editorial, romantic, painterly floral designs for weddings. corporate events and special occasions, using seasonal, local product whenever possible.

Emblem flowers was such a dream to work with and brought my Springtime floral vision to life for my wedding. Leading up the wedding, Charmain was so enthusiastic and fun to talk to and strategize flowers with, really accommodating and was very conscientious of my restricted budget. I’m pretty particular about design and flowers and she did an amazing job securing the very best flowers of the season, and creating beautiful arrangements. My overall wedding design was very simple and her flowers were the stars of the show. She also gave me advice on other design details and was a springboard for design strategy. I particularly loved my bouquet, which incorporated several of my favorite flowers, along with some beautifully scented ones that made my walk down the aisle even sweeter. The men’s boutonnières were also so surprisingly cute and original, a detail that I would have considered less important (sorry, boys) but were really special. Emblem went above and beyond for my wedding, made the process fun and delivered a beautiful day.

Review There are truly no words that feel quite big enough to express our gratitude to Michelle from Something’s Blooming LA. From the very beginning, Michelle didn’t just listen to what we wanted. She completely understood it. Every conversation, every idea, every tiny detail we mentioned was absorbed, considered, and then brought to life in the most breathtaking way. What she created for our wedding went far beyond flowers and décor, it was storytelling through the most amazing blooms. The thoughtfulness woven into every piece was extraordinary. From incorporating deeply sentimental elements into meaningful spaces, to creating the most incredible floral arch and personal boutonnières we could ever have imagined, every arrangement felt intentional, personal, and filled with care. Nothing was generic. Nothing was rushed. Every stem had purpose. Our guests still speak about the incredible designs to this day! Michelle isn’t just a floral designer or a florist. She is a rare and genuine talent. Someone who cares profoundly about every stage of the process, who treats your wedding as if it were her own, and who executes her vision with precision, passion, and heart. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and the standard she holds herself and her work to is nothing short of outstanding. A huge and heartfelt thank you also goes to Nancy and Leah, who supported Michelle throughout the journey. They were an absolute joy to watch and be around, calm, kind, professional, and clearly just as invested in making everything perfect. Their presence and teamwork only added to the magic of the day. What Michelle and her team created for us is something we will treasure forever. They went above and beyond in ways we never expected, and the beauty, emotion, and care they poured into our wedding will stay with us for a lifetime. If you are lucky enough to work with Michelle and her team, know that you are in the very best hands. Thank you again for being a huge part of our special day! Jack & AJ

I hired Maria to be my florist and my wedding coordinator. This was her first time being a coordinator, you would not have been able to tell that. Everything was perfect. Her communication and organization is excellent. She had a timeline written out which she followed to a tee. I wasn't even too nervous the day of the wedding. Maria had it all figured out and made me feel relaxed and confident in her skills. She didn't disappoint! With the flowers, Maria understood the vision I wanted for my flowers (no roses lol). I trusted her enough to pick out the flowers she thought would work. When I saw them for the first time, I cried... She got it exactly right! I loved my bouquet of orange Calla Lilies! My whole wedding was magical and one of the biggest reasons was because of Maria!

    Eveni Floral Design
    Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
    • Starts at $5,000
    • Serves Pasadena, CA

Hi, I’m Zoey. I founded Eveni based on my love for all beautiful things. I seek to design the perfectly imperfect, creating unusual yet subtle designs that reflect nature with an undiscovered beauty that is effortless and refined. It is the marriage of these two cultures which gives the work such meaning, combining beauty with balance. I love the way floristry allows me to unleash my inner artist. Putting together displays of seasonal colour and texture is at once fiercely creative and immeasurably soothing, and being able to create wedding flowers that play a part in people’s happiest memories makes it all the more rewarding.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Eveni Floral Design as our wedding florists, and it may have very well been one of the best decisions we ever made to work with Zoey and Carrie. From the get go, we had a very specific design in mind that was difficult to describe. We wanted something colorful and cheery, natural and whimsical, yet elegant, refined, and tasteful. We also didn’t want just a boring classic rose-based design either, but weren’t looking to be wildly experimental. We interviewed numerous florists and provided them all with our color palette and some inspiration pictures, and while several were great, Zoey and Carrie really nailed the concept we were looking for right away. They proposed beautiful arrangements that were even more stunning during the mock-up, and were able to work with us to repurpose flowers from the ceremony for the reception. Any communication we had with them was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They always were willing to make adjustments as we went along, and even accommodated other requests, such as making a dog collar for our dog to wear in the ceremony! And when it came to the wedding day, Zoey and Carrie absolutely blew us and our guests away. Not only were they right on time, quick in the set up, and during the transition of repurposing, the flowers themselves were PERFECT. They were all fresh, perfectly open, wonderfully vibrant, and artistically arranged. The colors of the flowers were vibrant, and their creativity in choices allowed for such a fun mix! Just looking at our bouquets brought an instant smile, they were just so cute, elegant, and playful, just like the vibe we hoped our wedding to have. And when we say our guests were absolutely floored by how absolutely lush and luxurious the florals were, we mean it. Every piece, from arch, bud vases, centerpieces, and floor arrangements had texture, height, whimsy, dimension, and color. They were neither too greenery heavy or overly stuffed with flowers. We had been to several weddings , and so had our guests (or had even gotten married themselves), and we received numerous compliments about how stunning our arch, bud vases, table set ups, and high / low centerpieces were compared to other weddings. By the end of the night, all the florals were taken by our guests! And while we had 10 tables, a full arch, innumerable bud vases and candles, and over 8 aisle pieces, Eveni Floral Design had some of the most fair/competitive pricing of all the florists in the SoCal area. We would HIGHLY recommend Eveni Floral Design for any event, big or small— they are so immensely talented, humble, and kind. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding cohesive, beautiful, and absolutely us.

Hi there! I’m Isabel — owner and lead designer at Your Wedding Florist ✦. My love for flowers began at age five, wandering through my grandmother’s garden and admiring every bloom. Designing florals today feels like a lifelong dream fulfilled and a meaningful way to stay connected to her. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with you and to create elegant, thoughtfully crafted florals for your wedding day.

I am extremely happy with how the florals turned out for our wedding this past June! I imagined beautiful, colorful wildflower bouquets and arrangements and Isabel definitely delivered. From my inspo pics and a short description of what I wanted, Isabel was able to curate and send me a visual palette of the flowers and colors she was going to incorporate into the arrangements. They were all perfect choices and looked amazing the day of. I also specifically wanted green bud vases for the table settings and she ordered the cutest set. All of my guests loved them. I would definitely recommend booking Isabel for your wedding!

The flowers came out so beautifully. I made everything white and ivory and told her I was leaning on her for all the color and she made it happen. I cried when I saw my Chuppah for the first time. Christina Pack discovered her love for flowers in 2002, while working in the floral department. Over the years, she has had other jobs, including working as a Business Development Manager for a large construction company, but realized in 2014 that her passion to work with flowers was too strong to ignore, so she created Wild at Heart Florist. From the initial planning stage to the big day — we can create all the florals imaginable to make your wedding one to remember! Make your day glow with our assortment of floral options!

Working with Wild at Heart Florist was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Christina was prompt in her responses and very personable, which put me at ease throughout the entire process. She is incredibly knowledgeable, creative, and collaborative, and truly took the time to understand my vision for the flowers. I gave Christina some color swatches as an easy way to convey the color scheme, and described my vision for the flowers, but everything else was left in her creative hands. The end result was beyond my expectations - the bouquets, and ceremony flowers were exactly what I had in mind, featuring the specific flowers I requested (natural navy flowers are not particularly common but I wanted a little bit of that color to tie in with the groomsmen's suits). She was also able to include my great grandmother's brooch as my something borrowed. The ceremony flowers were the right size and didn't block the natural beauty of the mountain backdrop, and I was able to repurpose the flowers from the ceremony to use for the decor of our sweetheart table. I cannot recommend Wild at Heart Florist highly enough for their exceptional service and stunning floral designs that made our special day even more beautiful!

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!
