Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. I would highly recommend for your wedding!

Urban Allure Events Floral & Design

5.0

  • Serves Palatine, IL

With over ten years in the Floral and Event industry, flowers have always been a part of my life, from playing in the garden with my mom as a girl, to my very first job in a flower shop fluffing carnations as a teenager. I love the way flowers can transform a space and evoke emotion. During the day you can find me in the studio sipping a cappuccino while researching design trends and experimenting with new color pairings. If I'm not designing, I'm most likely experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or curled up on the couch watching my favorite movie for the 100th time.

I had the pleasure of working with Urban Allure Events & Floral Design this year at Room 1520. The team's artistic vision truly goes beyond the imagination, creating structural floral design that I did not think was possible. Their use of color, attention to detail, and listening ear for their clients' needs is unmatched. I highly recommend them for your event!

Our wedding was in 2016. My husband and I knew we wanted comic book details in different parts of our wedding day; we did not anticipate flowers being an area we would do this. I also had a clear idea of what I didn’t want for floral. Enter Bunny. All I could tell her was: I love pink, roses are stupid, I like carnations, maybe some lilies if those were in season. This was not a lot to work with, and didn’t give her much direction. Y’all - she is so creative and talented!! She did paper flowers out of old comic books, found me a bunch of gorgeous pink flowers, added greenery, and did not include roses. My flower girls had flower wands and they loved them. My bouquet ribbon had The Hulk on it. Bunny thought of things I did not, and it was exactly perfect. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you hire her.

We are still in awe of the stunning florals Nancy created for our wedding. From the very beginning, Nancy impressed us with her kindness and professionalism. She was extremely thorough in our initial call and provided a very detailed proposal shortly after we hung up! She is so knowledgeable on floral and was able to provide a ton of recommendations on flowers that would complement each other. She is also an absolute saint dealing with my indecisiveness and vision change midway through planning. On the morning of the wedding, she sent a video of my bouquet, which was even more beautiful than I had imagined. It was so thoughtful for her to do this, and made me ever more excited for the day. The arrangements exceeded all expectations and has received countless compliments from our friends and family. Nancy’s dedication didn’t stop there. She stayed for the room flip and handled pick-up at the end of the night with grace and efficiency. We cannot recommend Nancy enough—she is truly the best in the business. We are thrilled that she was able to bring our floral vision to life so perfectly. 12/10 recommend!

Petal Station

  • Serves Palatine, IL

Since 2001, Petal Station (formerly known as Trudy’s Flowers and BouqBox) has proudly served the local communities in the Greater Chicago region. We only source the best and freshest blooms and greens to produce the most elegant floral arrangements for our customers.

We reached out to Petal Station for our wedding after seeing their beautiful work at my brother's wedding. We worked with Jocelyn, who was very engaged from early on and frequently checked in with us as we progressed to the wedding date to make sure that their preparations were matching our vision and budget. The centerpieces, garlands, and bouquets were all very high quality, fresh and beautiful. More than a month later my bouquet, though dried, still smells lovely. Jocelyn skillfully interpreted our vague ideas about color scheme and style into cherished elements of our wedding day. I highly recommend working with Jocelyn and Petal Station!
