May Floral is a boutique design studio that creates custom floral designs for weddings in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. Since our founding in 2014, we have provided florals for nearly 300 happy couples.

We offer exceptional client experience and high quality and compelling floral designs. We pride themselves on bringing each couple’s vision to life. We can navigate large, elaborate weddings and small, cozy events with equal skill.

    Wedding Florals

    Lovely and the team at May Floral perfectly executed our vision for our wedding florals! We met with Lovely via Zoom call 1-2 times and the primarily corresponded via email for the year leading up to our wedding. We went into our meeting without much of an idea for our florals other than a few inspo pictures on Pinterest, and she formed the most beautiful plan to present to us. She was even willing to make some last minute swaps for colors and flower type in the month leading up to our wedding. She was extremely professional and easy to work with! We would recommend her to anyone in the Chicago area!

    Lovely (owner) of May Floral is a wonderful human and was a joy to work with in the floral process. We were BLOWN AWAY by final product. She always took the time to hop on a zoom or answer an email or brainstorm with me, I never felt rushed in her presence. She was willing to try new things for us too and boy did she deliver! Would recommend her to every and all couple in the market for an extremely kind and talented human to do florals at their wedding! She excels at her craft.

    So Beautiful!

    May Floral and Lovely were amazing! From the beginning, Lovely helped us identify and realize the vision we had for our florals. She sourced more traditional flowers for our Hindu ceremony and made the most beautiful bouquet and matching pocket boutonniere. Everything looked gorgeous day-of and the team set up and broke down everything seamlessly.

Yes! We offer a variety of rentals for an additional cost from arches, candles and more. Get in touch to see our full list.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 12 months before their big day.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
Consultations last approximately 30 minutes but can take up to 1 hour for larger weddings. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. This can include images of your venue, photos of your wedding attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
