Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. Situated on seven acres of woods and gardens in Oakland County, Michigan, our 1853 registered historic wedding chapel (and meeting house), is the oldest church building in Farmington Michigan, and offers an intimate and peaceful setting for your most important life events. Surrounded by woods and gardens, our building sits in a pastoral setting that is conveniently close to urban amenities. With seating for up to 200 guests, our charming, New England-style meeting house provides a warm space for your most special day. Our gathering hall has space for smaller wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal or baby showers, with seating up to 74 people.

Plan your wedding on the charming grounds or in the historic 1845 New School church. With exclusive use of Mill Race Village, your wedding can be held any time of the year. In the Church or outside in the gazebo, weather permitting, your ceremony will be a memorable event in this picturesque Victorian setting. A Village Representative will be with you during your event to open and close the church and to keep the public off the grounds of the Village while your wedding is in progress, ensuring your privacy. Couples must provide their own clergy or officiant to perform their ceremony. Decorating the wedding site and clean up of the site is the responsibility of the couple. If you're planning an outdoor event for your wedding the Church is available for use in case of inclement weather.
