“So, our day was falling apart horribly. Sept 7th, 2024. Way before the day started, some bridal party got sick, our coordinator got fired two days before our wedding, our venue didn't have much of what we ordered for decorations. Our last hope was the DJ service, but honestly, we didn't have high hopes. But then, the DJ arrived. He looked serious and got down to business. We told him how it's gonna be a mess and we understand if things didn't go right....it was just the way things were. We had each other right? NO. Our DJ refused to accept our self pitty. He was the calm, understanding, and reassuring part in this disaster of a storm. He said.....and I quote, "good thing I'm trained in coordination and I'm fully prepped. No worries, we got this". I, as the bride.....cried. we didn't have anyone that gave us this reassurance or confidence....till we met the DJ. He took charge, organized the most perfect ceremony, and then just did what it took to get everyone else organized from guests, to venue, to catering company. All we had to do, was have our wedding. We spoke with the guy the week of our wedding. He kept talking about "vision". Heck, I didn't even see what they saw. But the DJ, must have known somehow, because he got that vision and did everything we needed, and wanted. Dinner was beautiful, and things got done! I didn't think a DJ did all that. Then the dance. He announced everything, so all were informed and orchestrated everything and we let it all go and really had a lot of fun and enjoyed everything he played. I'm sure our DJ wanted to have more fun than all the work we out on him, and for that, I'm sorry......but you did one heck of a job!!!!! You turned what was a disaster, righted all the other vendors ships, and sailed yours too! You did the work of multiple companies with just 1 DJ. Unheard of! Most DJs I've seen at weddings just stay behind their music stuff and speakers and don't move. Our DJ broke a sweat. You know what, I hope other have a better wedding experience than we did, but I can tell you, this is a comoany that knows weddings, understands the needs of others, and is very well versed in what they do. And for all that, I'm grateful beyond belief and worth every penny and more. This is the ONLY 5 star review I've given for my wedding and they deserve 15. What a blessing!”

She came to our home to take newborn photos, and didn’t rush us, and let me take time to feed our new baby in the middle of the session so he would calm down and be settled for pictures. She got us sneak peeks about a week later and the whole gallery a couple weeks after that! She was helpful suggesting different poses and working with the inspiration pics I had sent her before hand. “Betsey and her team were absolute stars from day one. In a few words, professional, hardworking, and experts. I trusted everything they had to say. I went in to my bridal makeup and hair trial having an idea of what I wanted, but no idea on how best to execute. Betsey took the reigns and worked with my skin to achieve an exceptional look. Her team was incredible with hair too! Giving feedback has always been a little challenging for me, but calling Betsey up a few months before the wedding to discuss some changes to make was no issue. She came prepared with blotting papers, energy, and all the equipment necessary to tame the whole crew - even the ones that wanted last minute lashes and lipstick and hadn't paid yet. Luminous Beauty was on time, set up and tore down efficiently, and were strategic in their timeline for applying things like lipstick to achieve maximum impact for photos. Sitting in their chairs was like sitting in your own little bubble with them. You feel like you're the only person in the room, and they treat you with so much kindness and consideration. My mother and mother in law were not prepared with their look, but with some targeted questions by Luminous Beauty, they were looking like their best selves and were all extremely happy with the outcome. Luminous Beauty also showed us all how to insert and remove my veil which was a little tricker than expected! But we did it and it was an absolute success!. Everyone looked incredible that day, and we owe it all to Betsey and Luminous Beauty. An incredible team.”

Our wedding day came with a small amount of "conveniently timed" rain (during our first look and wedding party photos!), and they knew exactly how to work with what we had (a tall tree to hide under and an umbrella..). The attached photo was taken during a downpour rain and it STILL looks beautiful!! They were incredibly organized and all photos were pre-planned so they had a set plan in order to avoid wasting time. They listened to what my husband and I wanted, and made sure we were taking care of ourselves (eh-hem, reminding us to eat multiple times throughout the day..). They were so easy going but didn't have a problem putting their foot down if a random family member or other vendor were "problematic" (per the brides request!!). “You cannot go wrong with Primped! I had Lindsay for makeup and Allie for hair - they were wonderful! They did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my mom’s hair. I cannot say enough about how great they both were! We were able to meet and do a trial before the wedding to discuss the look I wanted both in terms of makeup and hair, and they both ensured I was completely comfortable with the end results. All of the other women who had their hair and makeup done loved the end result. Allie and Lindsay were both excellent about ensuring everyone had as much or as little "extra" in their makeup or hair. For instance, my mother-in-law is not as comfortable with a lot of glamour, so Lindsay and Allie were great about ensuring her hair and makeup were more natural compared to some of the others. They are both also just such kind people who were a welcome addition to our morning of getting ready - everyone had rave reviews for them. Primped is a wonderful company with great people who work for them. My hair and makeup lasted all night and I loved the way I looked :) The cost is definitely worth it - you won't regret hiring them!”
