She was very affordable and super transparent about pricing. The original cake design I showed her was done with fondant but due to how expensive it was I went with buttercream and was a bit worried it wouldn’t turn out as nice but it turned out better than I could have ever hoped! I also sent her some color swatches and she nailed the colors! The pick up process was quick and smooth as well! If you are on the fence on who should do your cake you NEED to pick Katie! She truly is amazing!”

My husband and I talked to several planners before signing with Kari and it's by far the best decision we made for our day. With two very different ceremonies in one day, in one venue, with almost two hundred guests several other vendors and their teams, there was a *lot* to coordinate. Kari was at the center ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. We had monthly scheduled check-ins with her to discuss progress as we neared the wedding day and I never felt rushed or stressed. With our particular venue, we needed to bring in everything from outside vendors - lunch, dinner, snacks, cakes, drinks, stage, flowers, chairs, every plate, fork, and cup. It was a huge effort to coordinate everything and Kari made things seamless and smooth every step of the way. After hearing of so many wedding difficulties from friends, I asked that my husband and I, and our families, be able to enjoy the day without being the ones to be contacted with any hiccups and we were able to do so throughout the whole wedding. “From the moment I inquired with Dakota, she was prompt. We instantly jumped on a call and we literally talked for a hour! I instantly knew she was going to be our photographer! Throughout the planning process, she consistently reached out to check in. Her thoughtful and uplifting voice messages were such a light midst the stresses of wedding planning. I would get so excited when I saw her name pop up on my phone, her bubbly personality and genuine care in her messages meant everything to us!! Our engagement photo day was a scorcher--95 degrees and pure sun!! But Dakota made the absolute best of it, even as we took breaks to cool down. Despite the sweat and crazy heat, our photos turned our magazine worthy--seriously stunning!! In the weeks leading up to the wedding she checked in almost daily, which was so reassuring. Her online website and questionnaire were very thorough and incredibly helpful. At one point, I even called her to vent about a difficult wedding situation (that had nothing to do with her), and she listened and reassured me through it all! She is truly a wedding industry professional!! On our wedding day, her presence was incredibly pleasant and everything flowed perfect. We fell a bit behind due to hair and makeup, and she continued to reassure me that we would be just fine. Her photography style is absolutely stunning, with great attention to detail that captured every important moment for us. We received our sneak peeks just a day or two after the wedding which was one of my favorite memories ever!!-- getting to reminisce on the stunning photos with my now husband on our first day of our honeymoon. It meant the world to us! The full gallery was delivered within the timeframe discussed in our contract as promised, I even had a few questions about different angles and additional photos and she delivered on all of my requests. Her gallery website was very easy to use and share. Overall we had a 1000/10 experience with having Dakota as our wedding photographer. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is also so personable and was one of the best decisions and investments we have ever made! When it is your special day, you want to be surrounded by the absolute best, and that is Dakota!!”

“WOW, where do I begin. Kasey and Tyler are masters at what they do! From two different engagement sessions to our wedding day, they knew exactly how to get the "perfect shot". Our wedding day came with a small amount of "conveniently timed" rain (during our first look and wedding party photos!), and they knew exactly how to work with what we had (a tall tree to hide under and an umbrella..). The attached photo was taken during a downpour rain and it STILL looks beautiful!! They were incredibly organized and all photos were pre-planned so they had a set plan in order to avoid wasting time. They listened to what my husband and I wanted, and made sure we were taking care of ourselves (eh-hem, reminding us to eat multiple times throughout the day..). They were so easy going but didn't have a problem putting their foot down if a random family member or other vendor were "problematic" (per the brides request!!). “You cannot go wrong with Primped! I had Lindsay for makeup and Allie for hair - they were wonderful! They did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my mom’s hair. I cannot say enough about how great they both were! We were able to meet and do a trial before the wedding to discuss the look I wanted both in terms of makeup and hair, and they both ensured I was completely comfortable with the end results. All of the other women who had their hair and makeup done loved the end result. Allie and Lindsay were both excellent about ensuring everyone had as much or as little "extra" in their makeup or hair. For instance, my mother-in-law is not as comfortable with a lot of glamour, so Lindsay and Allie were great about ensuring her hair and makeup were more natural compared to some of the others. They are both also just such kind people who were a welcome addition to our morning of getting ready - everyone had rave reviews for them. Primped is a wonderful company with great people who work for them. My hair and makeup lasted all night and I loved the way I looked :) The cost is definitely worth it - you won't regret hiring them!”

I went in to my bridal makeup and hair trial having an idea of what I wanted, but no idea on how best to execute. Betsey took the reigns and worked with my skin to achieve an exceptional look. Her team was incredible with hair too! Giving feedback has always been a little challenging for me, but calling Betsey up a few months before the wedding to discuss some changes to make was no issue.
