“We had our wedding roomblock at the Bridgewater Marriott and were thrilled with our experience. Their communication was consistently responsive and flexible as we made changes to details in the weeks leading up to the big day. The venue itself is big, new and very comfortable - perfect for accommodating our large guest list. The event staff helped coordinate shuttle changes seamlessly and allowed us to provide our own welcome gifts, which was greatly appreciated. They made themselves available for questions 24/7 and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in our room - such a thoughtful touch! From start to finish, they contributed to making our wedding day special with their attention to detail. We'd highly recommend the Bridgewater Marriott for a roomblock for any couple's big day!”

“There aren't enough words to describe what a perfect day Anah and her team created for our wedding. It was more perfect than we ever could have conceived of ourselves. We booked during a transition period for Anah and her business, so sometimes there were some lapses in communication and some crossed wires, but when it came to the wedding weekend, everything was absolutely perfect. (Maybe I'm overusing that word, but it doesn't feel possible). Anah is so warm, funny, personable, and made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world on our wedding day - and also extremely safe and welcome as a queer couple. Every detail was thoughtful and lovely. We used what she grows for our flowers, and she put together a bouquet for me on the morning of the wedding that matched perfectly with accessories she hadn't even seen yet. It's possible she's a little bit psychic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Anah and team for our perfect day. I wish we could do it all over again!”

“I don't even know where to begin — our June 13th, 2025 wedding at the Olde Mill Inn was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived to the final sendoff, it felt like we had stepped straight into a Hallmark movie. The Setting We used both the Grain House and the Grand Ballroom, and each space had its own charm. Our ceremony took place in the courtyard, and it was absolutely magical — the gardens, the stone walls, the romantic ambiance... it all felt timeless and intimate. We had about 100 guests, and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and well-thought-out everything was. The Team Lea and John were nothing short of amazing. Lea was with us every step of the way through the planning process, answering all our questions (and calming my nerves more than once). John, our maître d’, was a dream on the day of — he made sure we were always taken care of, that everything ran smoothly, and that we actually got to eat during cocktail hour and dinner (which so many brides don’t!). The Experience It’s honestly hard to pick one thing I loved most because everything — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the convenience of having our guests stay on-site — was perfect. The staff made us feel like royalty, but also like family. Every detail felt intentional and personalized. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was an experience. A Moment I’ll Never Forget There was a quiet moment after the ceremony, before heading to cocktail hour, when John pulled us aside, gave us a glass of champagne, and let us soak it all in — just the two of us. That pause, in the middle of such a whirlwind day, meant the world. Final Thoughts If you're considering the Olde Mill Inn for your wedding, don’t hesitate. The entire day felt like it was lifted from a movie set, but it was our movie — beautiful, heartfelt, and joy-filled. We’ll forever be grateful to Lea, John, and the entire team for giving us the best day of our lives. Forever grateful, Danielle and James”

“Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.”

“Choosing Chauncey Hotel as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is a hidden gem located in Princeton, NJ. It is nestled behind main roads, not far from the downtown but feels very secluded when onsite. We have many out of town relatives so being able to stay at the hotel and have everything onsite was very convenient and comfortable. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the morning which was a nice perk and convenient spot for everyone to gather. There is also a bar in the lobby which was the perfect space for reconnecting the night before our wedding and for our after party. The Laurie House is a charming historic home that offers a hotel-style stay. It was the perfect space for us and our bridal party to get ready, with a large space for hair/makeup, "getting ready" photos, and a boardroom for signing our marriage license after the ceremony. The surrounding property is beautiful and offered many areas for photos surrounded by trees and other natural scenery. The staff at Chauncey was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs all weekend. Becki in particular went above and beyond as a wedding coordinator. She made herself available to meet in person and virtually before our wedding. Every interaction with Becki made us feel more ready and prepared for our big day! In the days leading up to the wedding, we were able to drop off decor for her ahead of time and she also led our rehearsal! Becki took the time to check in with us the day-of and looked after our family and bridal party to make sure they had everything they needed. Making sure we had our cues before walking down the aisle was so helpful. Our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her!”

The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. “From the first time we reached out to the team at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, they were very responsive, getting back to us within 48 hours. As our wedding date approached, their communication became even more great as they helped us navigate the DIY elements of the venue. While we had to handle a lot of the setup ourselves, their day-of coordinator was a huge help, even providing a golf cart to shuttle us around the sprawling property. Everything is outsourced at Bowman's, but the coordinator did a pretty good job ensuring our special day ran smoothly. The bathrooms did flood and we are still looking for some of our things as our things were piled up all over. Overall, we were very pleased with the value and unique setting Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve provided for our wedding.”

“We had our wedding at the Park Chateau, and from start to finish, the experience was flawless. There’s a reason the Park Chateau is considered the best wedding venue in the state — it’s simply unmatched! The venue is the epitome of luxury, with both the outdoor and indoor spaces being breathtakingly beautiful. The grounds are impeccably maintained, from the vibrant flowers to the tranquil water features. It truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. Guests were absolutely blown away by the setting alone. Every detail, from the architecture to the gardens, was picture-perfect, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant, timeless, and incredibly special. The food was also exceptional! The cocktail hour alone was a standout — our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety, presentation, and flavor of every dish. Many were genuinely surprised when dinner was served afterward, assuming the cocktail hour had been the main meal because it was that impressive. Both the quantity and quality of the food exceeded all expectations. We received so many compliments from guests about how it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Most standout, however, was their service. The Park Chateau has an entire team of dedicated professionals who made sure every single detail was executed seamlessly. From bridal attendants literally on their knees scrubbing dirt off my dress, to staff ensuring we always had a drink or a bite to eat, we felt completely cared for the entire day. They checked in on us constantly but never intrusively, even bringing water around while we danced to keep us hydrated and energized. Our families were treated with such respect and warmth, and their kindness and attentiveness were noticed by everyone. The team brought our vision to life with minimal effort on our part, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment. The Park Chateau is a premium venue, but it is worth every single penny. It gave us the wedding of our dreams!!”

“Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!”

Some times slow to respond to emails but did always answer all questions asked. “My husband and I chose this as our wedding venue. Some months before our wedding they had implemented a team of women to help with any questions and planning. These ladies were extremely helpful with answering questions and were typically quick to respond. The day before our wedding, we went to set up the tables and decorations I had made. The inn keeper Tricia was super kind and let me feel like I had a full run of the venue to do whatever I had envisioned. She basically told me I could do whatever I needed, and if I needed extra hands for help to let her know and she would get me help. The day of the wedding was very hot, and there was an unfortunate breakdown of the AC in our getting ready room and suite for the night. They placed us in the next Best room for the night and got us in a cooler space for getting ready. Even with that, if I had to do the wedding all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I am so grateful to the team working with me leading up to the wedding day as well as everybody involved to make our wedding day so special. If you choose this place as your wedding venue, I feel as though you will not be disappointed, even when things go wrong.”

“We chose Sayen House & Gardens for our micro wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The property is absolutely stunning in spring—the gardens and house both provided the perfect backdrop for our evening without us having to do much decorating. What really impressed us was how seamlessly everything came together, the catering is a monopoly; our catering coordinator Joanne stepped up and helped manage the space too, making sure every detail was handled. Our guests raved about the venue itself—there's something special about getting married in a place that's been so well cared for by the township. The pricing was very reasonable, which meant we could spend our budget on other things that mattered to us. We'd absolutely recommend Sayen House & Gardens to any couple planning an intimate celebration. The rains earlier in the day made the gardens look like a rainforest out of fairy tales”

“We had a beautiful wedding weekend in April at the Stone Ridge Farm Inn! From the moment I began communication with Lori, she was incredibly responsive and attentive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. The venue is definitely a hidden gem and it was perfect for our intimate wedding of 27 people. We decided not to hire a wedding planner, and I’m so glad we didn’t because Lori and Steve were there to help with anything we needed. We DIY’d all of our wedding décor, and Lori helped incorporate some of the Carriage House’s existing decorations with ours, which gave the space a more romantic vibe. I made our two wedding cakes, but I forgot to bring cake stands for them. Lori was so kind to go out of her way to pick up two stands for us to use so we could display the cakes properly. Steve and Lori spent the previous day helping us set up, running through our ceremony rehearsal with us, and making sure our guests found their rooms and got parked without any issues. Steve also handled our ceremony music from our Spotify playlists perfectly. We were told that he wasn’t very “tech savvy,” but we gave him a simple list of songs and cues, and he absolutely understood the assignment. The dining area at the Inn was set up beautifully for our welcome dinner. Lori had just recently gotten longer dining tables for the Inn, so it was the perfect amount of space to seat everyone. Steve and Lori gave us space to host our welcome dinner, and if we ever needed anything from them, all we had to do was text or call them and they’d be right over. After dinner, we had karaoke at the Inn, which ended up being one of the most fun parts of the weekend. There’s a karaoke microphone upstairs overlooking the main area, and all we had to do was hook up our laptop and pull up karaoke songs on YouTube. Everyone had a blast singing and hanging out! We also hosted a send-off brunch the next morning after the wedding, and Lori met our caterer and helped them with setup while we and our guests were able to sleep in. The Inn itself is beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glassware, utensils, and anything else you might need. There are nine beautifully decorated guest rooms, which comfortably accommodated 22 of our guests, including us. The Carriage House was the perfect reception space for our guest count. We had plenty of room for dinner, desserts, and a dance floor. We were also able to have our ceremony outdoors, and the sunset during cocktail hour was absolutely mesmerizing. We brought our own speaker and laptop for music, and it sounded great all evening. We didn’t even need a DJ. Every little detail was so thoughtfully considered, and Steve and Lori made us feel completely supported from start to finish. The entire weekend was so wonderful, and if I could do it all over again, I would! If anyone is thinking of hosting their intimate sized wedding somewhere, definitely host it here! It’s the perfect place to spend your weekend with your closest friends and family.”

A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

“There were quite a bit of rules and miscommunications along the way. This made the experience, especially during the end of the engagement season and the actual wedding day a bit dramatic and exhausting. However, this could be avoided if every single detail is ironed out from the very beginning and you are giving consistent reminders of what you're anticipating your day to be like. Overall, the venue is gorgeous and every single area of it is grounds for awesome photo-ops. On a gorgeous day, you will absolutely not regret choosing this location. Not only is it super affordable, but they also give you the freedom to pick your other vendors to create your ideal wedding (as almost everything else is kind of "a la carte"). A bonus is that you get the whole grounds on your wedding day, so that's exciting for you and your guests!”
