“Markie was the gem of our wedding day. When she arrived at my get-ready space, it felt like the arrival of an old friend. We got married in 2020 and our reception venue was canceled a week before our day. We ended up having our reception in our back garage! Markie pivoted perfectly and helped make our day feel so easy. I'm so comfortable with her, we have so much fun, and she genuinely enjoys her clients. We've done several family photo sessions with her now and she absolutely delights in our daughters. They kept their distance when needed, they took control when needed, they had a great schedule set yet it didn't feel rigid. It was so fun and comfortable hanging with them all day. “It was such a pleasure to have Grace as our photographer throughout this wedding journey. We had her shoot our engagement photos (which we loved!) in addition to our wedding. She was very communicative. From the very beginning, she was clear on pricing. She would always work with my schedule when setting up meetings to go over timelines. She even went over every photo with me after the engagement shoot to make sure that we’re all exactly what I was envisioning. On our wedding day she literally went above and beyond for us as well. She brought an assistant with her, as well as some great props and florals to be used in the photos. Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

“We hired Danielle for our wedding after our original photo/video team cancelled on us 6 months out. As stressful as it was, I’m so glad that happened because Danielle is AMAZING. She is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met and her light and airy photos are stunning. She is very professional and organized. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. We all know posing for pictures is awkward sometimes, but Danielle made us and our bridal party feel comfortable on the wedding day and it shows in the photos just how much fun we had with her. Danielle actually lives in SD about 45 minutes from my husband and I and we have already discussed that she will be our go to photographer for all our future photo needs. Her prices are beyond reasonable for everything included in her packages. We actually got the same amount of coverage as the original team we hired, but for about 1500 less which is huge when planning a wedding!
