1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

Overall, I love AmbientStudio and our experience was smooth and Stage 1 is just beautiful. I'd give a solid 4.5 for the overall experience. The team handled our room flip (ceremony to reception) flawlessly and from my experience the team was all easy to communicate with and handled everything well on the day-of. They were helpful and reasonable with accommodating our needs. One definite area for improvement in our experience would be that we smelled weed both during our rehearsal and our reception. When it's not coming from our guests, that's odd and should not be happening. I never personally laid eyes on the person responsible for that smell, though some of my group did.

The entire Terminus team was a pleasure to work with. We worked the most with Heidi and Brayette, but everyone involved in the days leading up to as well as the wedding day were extremely professional, kind and pleasurable to work with. In addition to having our wedding here, we also booked for our rehearsal brunch as well as the rehearsal. The food was phenomenal, the bar manager Ty was extremely knowledgeable and the space was outstanding. Our guests loved the speakeasy feel of the basement used for cocktail hour and the groomsmen loved having that space as their suite to get ready in. We used the rooftop for our rehearsal brunch which was perfect for the relaxed yet elegant setting we wanted. Our wedding pictures that we took up there were phenomenal especially with the ATL city as our backdrop. Heidi was so warm, welcoming and accommodating. Brayette was so sweet and worked hard to help us create a design of the space for both our ceremony and reception. We couldn't be happier, our wedding was perfect.

I cannot even express how much we loved working with Julian and Anne! Our wedding in March 2025 was absolutely beautiful and we could not have made a better choice than the Westside Warehouse. Julian was extremely responsive and communicative through the entire process and we loved the option to use the antique furniture available for decoration. If I was reading this review while I was in the process to book a venue, what I'd want to know is that the communication is excellent, the execution was flawless, location was unmatched, our guests had a great time, and the photos were exceptional. There isn't one thing I'd change about our venue!

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding reception at Golden Door Event Hall on 07/07/2023, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with their services. To start, I had to make a last-minute change to my reception venue, and Golden Door Event Hall was not only available but also incredibly accommodating. My husband and I cannot say enough how glad we are that we chose Wahoo! Grill for our wedding! First, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and a perfect setting for a wedding. But beyond that, the staff is amazing. Pam, the owner, is the coolest and sweetest lady. Our day-of coordinator, Kaitlyn was excellent and she made sure everything ran like clockwork. My husband and I had an 8 month engagement and the other venues we looked at wanted the balance paid 6 months before the date. Obviously, that gave us 2 months to come up with a lump sum. Wahoo! offered much more flexibility with payment. Wahoo! has extremely affordable valet parking and we were able to prepay that for our guests. We used their in-house florist and Wahoo! decorated our cake with flowers. Our guests were literally blown away by how amazing everything was. Our wedding was simple yet very classy. It was absolutely perfect.

Absolutely fell in love with this space! It is so large and is a pretty canvas to decorate to your taste with florals etc or can leave alone and still be beautiful. I especially loved how big it was so we didn’t need to flip any rooms. Audrey was great and easy to communicate with on questions with me and the vendors. The day of staff was super on top of everything and great to work with. We used the onsite catering which was so delicious!
