“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Luci did our flowers for our wedding on 9/25/21. I am a covid wedding that needed to be postponed from 2020. She did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was special. When I had any concerns, she would jump on a call with me to re assure me everything was going to be taken care of. She made me 10 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 bouquets for my mom and mother in law, a gorgeous bouquet for myself, an extra boutonniere, and even added flowers to our cake (which was very bare) without us having to ask. Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

I gave her a color scheme I had in mind but left the flower choices and design up to her for the most part- and I’m SO glad I did! She is truly an artist. Everything she put together was creative and beyond beautiful, we especially loved the two large ground arrangements she made for the gazebo during our ceremony which were then repurposed for our sweetheart table. We received so many compliments and requests for her info after the wedding- her work speaks for itself and I feel so lucky to have found her!!”
