“My husband and I are so glad that we booked The Oscar Event Center for our anniversary party. The menu was the main selling point for us because we wanted to offer unique options. We chose the seafood and Asian stations for dinner and everything was delicious. Our guests raved about the food saying it exceeded expectations. Chef Mike does not disappoint.
We like that the OEC sets up and tears down all decorations for you because it was a huge help. We used minimal decorations but felt like it was perfect since the hall is already well decorated. And the whole venue is customizable. It has a large capacity but the setup we chose was perfect for 55 guests. Additionally, with a smaller group we valued the per person food and beverage cost minimum rather than a guest count minimum. All the staff working at our party were incredible too! Shout out to Drew, Madi, Brenda, Lisa, Kathleen, and Gail for keeping things running smoothly.
We initially worked with Josie Fickes when we booked, and she was great. But we ended up lucky enough to have Jan Riordan as our coordinator. She completely understood our vision and was a joy to work with. She was very responsive to questions and made us feel at ease. Her kindness and attention to detail were much appreciated. We cannot give enough thanks to Jan and the whole OEC staff for making our anniversary party a great time!”
