Battlefield Bed and Breakfast is the dream venue for any couple looking for a historical property in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The Civil War-era barn and farmhouse sit on the Gettysburg Battlefield and allow for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The 1820’s Civil War Barn accommodates up to 140 guests and houses a dressing room. It is most comfortable May-November, as the weather affects the temperature in the barn. The Cypress House is a Federal-style home constructed in 1835. Our property resides on 24 acres, along the bank of the Susquehanna River. In 1987, our family dedicated their hearts and hands to restoring the property to it's original glory. The estate features a stone barn dating back to 1817 and meticulously kept colonial gardens bursting with boxwood, magnolias, and garden roses. We are family owned and operated. When you choose to get married here, your wedding day is cared for and celebrated like you’re a part of our family. We specialize in outdoor, garden-side weddings, stunning candle lit receptions in our wood-grain pole tent, and the most talented in-house Floral and Design team. Well Wishes Farm is a barn venue offering 2 full days of use with each rental. The air-conditioned farmhouse, built in 1855, is included and has separate spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready. The barn is not climate controlled, but fans, open doors, and a breeze are utilized in summer months and portable heaters in cooler months. Rental of the venue is a flat fee and includes taxes, use of chairs, 5' round tables, 8' rectangular tables, cocktail tables, whiskey barrels, patio heaters, bars, refrigerators/freezers, and a bronze arch. Well Wishes Farm, endeavors to allow couples to create the custom wedding of their dreams in a non-hurried fashion. We provide the backdrop, and couples achieve their vision with vendors of their own choosing. New for the 2025 season are 2 handicapped-accessible bathrooms that are steps from the barn. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
