I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism from the University of Missouri, *cough cough* known as the best journalism school in the nation. Throughout my schooling, I trained closely with award-winning photojournalists Rita Reed and David Rees, and I’ve worked with organizations like the Washington Post and USA Today. In my limited spare time, you can find me hiking in the mountains or eating Del Taco.

Usually, I would tell me couples "I've been doing this too long". But then I'll realize that I've been saying that for a long time now. Kristen started photographing at age 10 and always knew she was meant to be an artist. She spent her college years traveling the world, living in South Africa and South Korea as well as many States through the U.S. She received her BA in Fine Art Photography. Kristen met her husband, Trevor, on an airplane. They sat right next to each other, talked the entire flight, and eloped in Las Vegas five years later.
