“T and her company were amazing to work with! She is able to make a large wedding look easy (it’s not lol). My husband and I had a personal tragedy occur literally weeks before our wedding taking our focus elsewhere. I sent inspiration photos and we discussed our vision (simple elegance) and she handled everything else: coordination with the venues, our photographer, the transportation company, catering, and most importantly, with my husband, to allow as little stress on me (us) for our wedding while ensuring it was what we wanted. She is very communicative and able to resource pretty much anything (e.g. burgundy flowers, specific table settings, etc). She directed my focus to the most important things we wanted and was able to instinctually fill in the rest when I wasn’t mentally and physically able to facilitate, creating the vision we so wanted for our wedding. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family and most importantly, we are happy with what was delivered for our special day.”

“We loved working with Simply Fresh for our Torpedo Factory wedding. Brittany and her team were great with communication. All of our guests loved our food. I loved that Simply Fresh was flexible with us using other vendors such as Andy's Pizza for Late Night food and ordering homemade Pop Tarts and our wedding cake from M B Bakery. The catering staff was extremely gracious to not just the married couple, but all of our guests. They immediately responded to feedback when I wasn't a fan of the first signature drink they gave me and made sure all of the following drinks were perfectly stirred. One of the main reasons why we chose Simply Fresh is that they have a Virginia liquor license and were able to guarantee that our bar would not run out of alcohol. I think one of the best things about working with Simply Fresh is when we went to Select Rentals to pick out our linens/china/decor, etc. for the wedding they were very mindful about our budget and gave us guidance on what were the best items to use to give us an elegant feel to our wedding without breaking the bank. Given that the food and dance floor (fueled largely by alcohol) were such highlights for our guests at our wedding, we have Simply Fresh to thank in playing a large part in our big day.”

“From the moment we reached out to them for a consultation to the end of our wedding, working with the Appetites by RJ team was a calm blessing in the flurry of wedding planning. They were always extremely responsive, kind, flexible, professional, and warm. We are a queer couple and they treated us like family from the beginning. Most importantly the food was AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about it, especially the mac and cheese and cornbread. We also hired them as our bartending team, and they did a great job with that as well. On wedding day, everything went without a glitch, and they made sure us as the wedding couple were fed and provided drinks throughout the night, so we actually got to really enjoy their delicious food. “Heirloom absolutely killed it at our clients’ wedding! Elana and the entire team were so professional, organized, and on point. Throughout the planning process, they offered invaluable advice and guidance, communicated seamlessly with our planning team, and came into the wedding day incredibly prepared. The food was DELICIOUS and so beautifully presented. Guests were genuinely impressed and had nothing but great things to say about the menu. The service was equally phenomenal. Everything flowed smoothly, and guests were never left waiting for food or drinks. The team also did an incredible job accommodating all of the couple’s personal touches, including their his and hers cocktails, specific alcohol selections, and a cookie table honoring a hometown tradition. From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was, and several people even asked who catered the event. The portions were great, everything came out looking professional, and you could tell that they actually take pride in what they serve. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service.
