I first saw one of her creations at a wedding I attended and it absolutely blew my mind. But it’s not just about looks, these cheesecakes are insanely delicious. Truly the best I’ve ever had. Mercedes offers a wide variety of unique flavors, and each one I’ve tried has been incredible. Her retail shop is cozy and welcoming, and I’ve brought several groups of friends there to sample different flavors—it’s always a hit. One of the things I love most about Thicc Cakes is how inclusive the dietary options are. I have friends with dietary restrictions ranging from vegan, sugar free, dairy free, to keto and Mercedes had thoughtful, delicious options for everyone. Even friends who were fully prepared to not get to try anything. Her creativity and care really shine through. Mercedes is also just a joy to work with. “We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. We ordered plenty and people were grabbing them to take home at the end of the night. A perfect snack after a few beers. Theu were very fast with the samples and the order too!”
