We were able to get a free engagement session with the purchase of our package which was awesome because we were able to meet her in person before our actual wedding. The day of the wedding there were a few minor hiccups as our wedding was the same day as the Detroit Pride fest, and we weren’t sure some of our desired locations would be accessible. Without a moment of hesitation Jennifer, who knows the city of Detroit incredibly well, was able to secure a location for our first look and our wedding party photos which turned out to be perfect. Jennifer and her assistant LeAnn captured every part of our wedding with some much care and attention to detail. Our photos are spectacular and we are so thankful for our photography team. You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. “We were super excited to work with a veteran-owned business for our wedding music. However, the experience was not what we had hoped for. William's communication style was fast and accommodating, but he had a hard time matching the style of music we provided for our playlist (we provided around 40 songs for him and he added the rest to get the time coverage, but we didn't like 60% of his choices so we changed them 2 days before, which he fixed with no complaints!). During the ceremony, the music was skipping (outdoor and separate from reception area) and he ended up playing more guest requests than the songs we had specifically chosen as the couple. One big positive was he had a good balance of talking/directing and just playing music which I really appreciated. Overall, we had mixed feelings but all the issues we had could have been corrected with an equipment check (not sure if this was a venue issue or DJ issue) and preference of our music over the guests. I really liked working with William as a person and he handled changes really well, but I was disappointed to not hear more of my song choices.”
