We knew a great DJ was a must because the music can make or break a reception. The Mike Staff Productions experience is so unique from any other company I contacted. They send you video profiles on available DJs, so you can actually see and hear how the DJ. This was awesome, because we could get a glimpse into how the DJ would make announcements on our wedding day. We were also pleased to hear about their back-up plan. They have DJs on call in case of emergencies. It is so nice to check something off the planning to-do list, and know we booked a company we can count on!”

The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. Adam D, our main contact, was always quick to respond and always available when it came to answering our questions. Our DJ, George, was incredible, not only keeping the energy high all night but also stepping in to help coordinate the evening. “Detroit Event Company exceeded every expectation for our winter wedding! We hired one of their bands, CollisionSix, and they were truly spectacular from start to finish. They filled our night with INCREDIBLE energy, provided beautiful piano music during dinner, and absolutely wowed us by learning one of our favorite songs—“Modern Girl” by Bleachers—just for our big day. Their talent and professionalism shone through every moment. The entire planning process with Detroit Event Company was smooth, comforting, and exceptionally organized. We had several meetings beforehand, and Matt Rappaport was an absolute standout—creative, flexible, and always willing to help bring our vision to life. We felt supported every step of the way. We also used their photo booth services, which were a huge hit with our guests. They designed two custom photo layouts for us, and the booth attendant was so thoughtful—checking in throughout the night to make sure we got every photo we wanted before wrapping up.
