From start to finish, the communication with Tyler and Courtney was great - they responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and provided detailed answers to all of our questions. The venue itself is gorgeous, with beautiful rustic charm inside the barn and sprawling green fields outside that made for a stunning backdrop. All of our guests raved about what a wonderful venue it was, with cozy seating areas inside to mingle and a huge outdoor space where we had our dance with spots for lawn games and a bonfire. The value can't be beat - for the reasonable price and the flexibility to bring in our own vendors. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (81 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Montrose, SD

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I knew I had some craft skills and did not want to hire a florist, so found Flower Moxie online to do the flowers myself for my daughter's wedding. Maria was very helpful and responsive. I scheduled a phone call to answer my questions and then placed an order for loose flowers and greenery, mixed boxes, and premade wearables and bouquets. I felt the pricing was reasonable. I ordered the vases etc. online along with extra ribbon and pins. Please know you have to refrigerate the wearables, I recommend a wine fridge for the slightly warmer temperature. The flowers arrived as described, and although the corsages seemed small, they actually wore just fine. I was able to add some color to the bridal bouquet with the loose flowers. I found the process to be low-cost, low-stress, and again Maria was so very helpful that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My daughter loved what I was able to do.

Since we started working with him for our engagement pictures up to the wedding and after, he has been great at communication and very professional. He went above and beyond by helping us create a timeline for our wedding because didn’t know how weddings usually go. He worked so hard on the day of our wedding to get the best shots, and was very kind and helped us a lot with organizing order of events. He had great ideas for poses and was very mindful to get all the pictures we wanted with family members and bridal party. And even better than all of this, when we got the pictures, they came out amazing!! It’s very clear that he put a lot of hard work into making them look incredible. He is a very talented and skilled photographer. We were blown away by how they turned out! We are very thankful for how hard he worked and how great he made the picture look! We highly recommend him!
