Went to a welcome party here and it felt kinda like hanging out at a beach spot somewhere along the Italian coast. Worn-in tables, striped umbrellas, everything had that slightly faded, vintage charm. Really inviting. Just a good spot to eat, drink, and catch the sunset with everyone before the big day.

Didn't know this place existed! Went there for a reception. Dinner was super beautiful - long tables, string lights, and perfect weather. Felt really easy and fun. Then we moved into the barn and it turned into a full-on party. Disco ball, fog, lights, DJ — everyone was dancing. Honestly one of the best dance floors I’ve seen at a wedding. Really hidden gem.

Drift Santa Barbara was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. From the moment we started working with their team, they were always there to help and truly wanted us to have the best day possible. The intimate space at Drift provided so much room for creativity - the team put in so much effort to ensure the space was beautifully set up and the service was exceptional. It's a truly gorgeous venue with the sweetest people, and we loved having our reception there. I also highly recommend staying at Drift for a full experience - the penthouse was absolutely gorgeous and the dreamiest room we could have asked for.

We rented their outdoor patio for 100 people with catering. What a beautiful setting, and the food and service were outstanding! They were great at flowing with the menu options and the bar service. The wedding was right across the street at the courthouse, a 2 minute walk to the reception. Parking is adjacent and convenient for the wedding and reception. I highly recommend them for weddings or any gathering!

This was an incredible venue for a much more reasonable cost compared to other Santa Barbara options. We did reception only for 5000. The building itself is beautiful. The courtyard is spacious and well cared for. We also used their indoor auditorium space which had so much old school charm. Beautiful stained glass window, plenty of bathrooms, and so much space for dancing! There’s even a stage, although we didn’t use it. They also have lots of rental packages you can add on. We got all of our reception furniture (tables and chairs) for an additional 1200. We worked with Joanie from the Unitarian society who was so helpful! They are definitely firm on a few rules but overall it was all very reasonable and we had an incredible experience. Definitely recommend!

The Unbearable Skee Lodge at The Cruisery was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the open and easy communication with the staff, to the awesome welcoming lodge vibe, everything was exactly what we wanted. Our guests felt right at home, and raved about the amazing food and drinks. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for, and it was everything we wanted it to be for our special day. The Ojai Retreat & Inn was everything we could have asked for for our wedding in early November!! We rented the whole property for our wedding party and the weekend felt like a dream oasis! Before the wedding, we were able to immerse ourselves in the serenity of the Ojai Retreat by taking a stroll on the nature path. We also enjoyed nearby restaurants (Bonnie Lu's for breakfast and Ca'Marco for our Rehearsal Dinner) that were a short car ride away. We used the living room area and the upstairs library for getting ready spaces and they were well air-conditioned and provided more than enough space for all of us- without the groom seeing the bride, of course. Then during our ceremony and reception, the beauty of the landscape and views made for marvelous photos and memories! It was truly magical and felt like an enchanted fairytale! On top of the beauty of the property, everyone who works at the Ojai Retreat & Inn is so kind and helpful! A special thank you to Dana and Lia for your help and to all the workers who helped move lawn furniture before our rentals needed to unload. They were so flexible with us and worked with us on our many random questions and requests. We can't wait to come back to the Ojai Retreat & Inn for our anniversaries!!

I had a beautiful wedding and reception at The White House Beach Club. We brought a live band, a DJ to play after dinner and churros for an evening snack. The venue was gorgeous and it came together so well! The whole staff was so friendly and attentive. Nothing but great things to say about the venue and staff. Food was amazing! The appetizers were a big hit! The venue added a few nice to have few extra touches like the champagne welcome cart. The space is so great to throw a great wedding and reception!

Wow, cannot say enough great things!!! Buddy's has hosted a couple events for me, and has always gone above and beyond. The menu is fantastic, as well as the service staff! I attended a rehearsal dinner here and wow! The views are absolutely amazing. The dinner was around sunset, so we got to watch the sun set over the ocean and then enjoy the beautiful lights at night too. The food was delicious (they did a cocktail-style party) and the bar area is really cool. A super unique venue!

After getting engaged in late 2020, my husband and I found ourselves at Cuyama Buckhorn during a trip to New Cuyama. New Cuyama was already a special place for us and after spending the afternoon at the recently renovated Buckhorn (it had also been under new ownership for just a year or two), we just knew it felt right. We reached out to the team and after a bit of back and forth, we ended up working with them to plan our special day. As it turned out, we were actually their very first wedding! Some may have seen this as a red flag, but we saw it as an opportunity and I’m so glad we did. Just a little background info – there are about 21 rooms at the Buckhorn and very few other places to stay in the area so this venue is really meant for intimate gatherings/smaller weddings. We had a total of 53 guests and a few stayed at the nearby Cuyama Oaks Ranch (glamping in yurts). When it came down to it, the entire Buckhorn team was incredibly flexible and accommodating. From the food to the deserts, they did it all and pretty much had everything we needed on site. The only outside vendors we hired were a DJ and a photographer! This being said, we already loved the Western-style aesthetic of the Buckhorn, so our vision was pretty much already intact and we didn’t need much outside decor or anything. We went for a summer camp kind of vibe and booked the entire hotel for the weekend so it really felt like a magical escape for all our friends and family. We worked with Executive Chef Daniel Horn to design our menu, Beverage Director Brandon on our custom cocktail menu, the in-house graphic designer Kiana on our wedding collateral and former Events Manager, Savannah Fox on everything in between. They truly catered to our every need throughout the process, but what really makes this team stand out is how they kept our vision alive and the weekend feeling magical despite some unfortunate weather. On the day of our wedding, it SNOWED early in the morning, hailed, and then rained. Our original plan was to have our ceremony and dinner outdoors and the venue was well-equipped with tons of heating lamps, fire pits, etc. so we figured dinner outside would be fine. Everything was set and then it began raining right before the ceremony. The General Manager literally carried a pool umbrella over my dad and I as we walked to the aisle. Talk about above and beyond!!! Magically, it stopped raining just in time for the ceremony to remain outside, but it was pretty cold so the entire Buckhorn team rallied together to breakdown the already set dinner outdoors and transition it inside. They managed to move the dinner in a matter of about 15 minutes and it looked just as beautiful inside as it did outside. I should also mention that if you’re coming from a city like Los Angeles or Santa Barbara, this venue was much more affordable and accommodating than any others I looked into. They handled all of the details so well and included things most other venues would not have. From the amazing food to the aesthetic, to the wonderful, wonderful staff, I could not recommend this venue more. If you have your wedding here, you are guaranteed to have the most incredible memories and photographs. The Buckhorn is truly an experience and the owners and staff are some of the friendliest, most amazing people in hospitality I have ever met. If you want a small, spirited, BEAUTIFUL wedding with desert valley vibes, this is the place for you.

Our wedding at Zaca Mesa took place this spring in March. Everything to booking, venue walk through, and the event day of went smoothly thanks to Tara the event manager at Zaca. She was on top of everything and answered all the questions we had thoroughly and promptly through the whole experience. We felt truly welcomed and like a part of a family there. The venue itself is beautiful with a gorgeous oak tree outside, tall ceilings in the view room, and the greenery outside. It was everything we wanted for our special day. Unfortunately it rained so we weren’t able to utilize the outdoor space but the Zaca team and our event coordinator team did everything and anything to switch to plan B to make sure we still had our ceremony outside and a fun party inside. I truly believe the way the event panned out was even better than the original plan. The professionalism was top notch. Even the times we’ve come to visit the service is impeccable. I am so happy we chose Zaca and we cannot WAIT to come back to visit. It’s one of the reasons we wanted to have our wedding there was to be able to come back and relive those special moments.

Our wedding day at Casi Cielo was seamless. Kaitlin was so attentive, proactive, and kind. She made sure every little detail was perfect. The night was seamless and the schedule of the night went off perfectly. The team at Casi Cielo were amazing and packed the cars of any and all items needed to be taken home while we enjoyed the night in full. This was the best venue! The staff was so nice, we loved our coordinator for our wedding planning and for the day of, she was so helpful and kind. Ken and his staff were also so welcoming. My husband and I stepped foot on the land and instantly knew this was where we wanted to get married. We got married 1.5 years ago but guests still tell us to this day how much they loved our venue. There’s plenty of parking, I loved how everything is nicely sectioned off without creating actual rooms or borders. There’s plenty of place for games and photos and everything you need here. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding and highly recommend this venue. Would get married to my husband again here 10/10 lol!
