The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association's beautiful Oak Park Landmark building has served the surrounding communities since its construction in 1928. The Classical Revival 2-story building exudes historical charm and inspiring awe for every guest. The Nineteenth Century offers multiple event spaces to fit your needs, with hanging chandeliers, a full stage, original hardwood floors, and a lofty ceiling. The Margaret Houck Ballroom is a beautiful and refined space for your ceremony and reception. Windows line both sides of the ballroom giving you plenty of natural light, casting an iridescent glow over the hardwood floors. From small to medium sized parties, consider the South Dining Room or the North Dining Room. Cozy yet elegant, these two rooms offer the perfect atmosphere.

If you desire a wedding venue that is elegant, distinctive and timeless, look no further than historic Cheney Mansion. Featuring a ballroom, formal dining rooms, sitting rooms, a library, and separate bride and groom preparatory rooms, the Mansion provides the perfect setting for your wedding and reception. For couples who prefer an outdoor venue, your ceremony can be held on Cheney’s impeccably landscaped grounds which provide an ideal backdrop for your wedding photographs. At your reception, your guests can flow from the Mansion onto the lighted patio and the adjacent renovated greenhouse which provides an intimate setting for guests to gather. The patio and greenhouse are also perfect for an alfresco cocktail hour.

The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.

The Auditorium Ballroom is a one of a kind, Luxurious historical venue space in downtown LaSalle, IL. The building was built in 1915 and named the Auditorium Ballroom that hosted many weddings and events. The property was restored in 2017 while keeping its unique historic character. You will fall in love with the grand entrance which features the beautiful, original marble staircase with polished brass railings , with a grand chandelier. Pose Cultural Art Gallery is the Perfect location for an intimate ceremony, Toast off Mixers or any intimate event before or on your wedding day. Our Expose Brick venue with Art displayed from global pop artist is the perfect casual, relaxed vibe for your experience. We're a Byob venue.
