A unique and beautiful ranch that is nothing short of amazing! From the moment my wife and I drove through the gate we were in awe. We were greeted by multiple unique species of wildlife and a serene landscape with spectacular views. Ty and Leslie have built an amazing ranch and experience in central Texas and the hospitality is truly the best part! From the lodge, the cottage, and wildlife sanctuaries no detail was missed or expense spared. Viewing and feeding all of the animals was an amazing experience that we will never forget. We could not recommend Artemis Ranch enough. Whether it is for a family getaway in the cottage or a wedding/corporate event in the lodge, this is hands down the place for you. We will definitely be back!

We had a relatively short engagement (about 8 months) and shopped for venues for a good while before deciding on Sunset Oaks. They try are the best for your money, so hands on and they are so transparent about their pricing and what they offer! Their decor closet is extensive! They had so much you can borrow for your big day for free and it was all actually cute/current things. The venue itself is beautiful not too rustic or modern a perfect canvas to hold your wedding day! We loved working with Coby she was so proactive and helpful and the big day went off perfectly.

Stewart's is a slam dunk! Just had my wedding party there, and wow, what a spot. First off, the games are a total blast. We had everyone out on the croquet lawn—my buddies, her family, even our grandparents got in on it. It broke the ice perfectly and had everyone laughing. Way better than just standing around with a drink. And that scenery… the whole place is like this classy, green oasis. The lawn is pristine, and the vibe is just cool and relaxed. It made for some incredible photos. Huge shout-out to Jay, the GM, and Andrew in Ops. Those guys are on it. Jay kept checking in to make sure our drinks were full and the vibe was right. Andrew was everywhere—organizing the games, moving groups through, just making the whole day flow without a single hiccup. Their attentiveness was next level. If you want a wedding event (or any party) that’s actually fun and not stuffy, this is the place. 10/10 would get married here again. (Won't regret it, trust me!)

When we found Century Hall, Dani was not only a wonderful host but painted an amazing picture of the possibilities of our day, all just from the tour. Dani was extremely accomodating on the numerous times my family and friends wanted to see the space before and was extra knowledgable of the space, area, and more. This venue has beautiful hardware floors and history throughout bringing a beautiful industrial rustic theme to it's ambiance. Our guests loved the space! This winery holds such a special place in my heart. The moment we first walked in to tour it as a wedding venue, I could already tell that I loved it! The owners are great, the food and wine is delicious and the building just has such a cool historical, yet contemporary vibe. Soma Winery hosted our wedding on Valentine’s Day 2025 and it was incredible! Our photographer and videographer were able to capture the elements of the downtown area, which really made our captured memories feel so special and unique. The winery provided food and wine, as well as the venue. This was virtually a one stop shop for many of our wedding needs and they made the process so easy. Whether it be for a book club, a wedding, or simply a few glasses of wine and appetizers with friends, I highly recommend Soma Winery!

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.
