Stage House Inn is a stately and elegant wedding venue. The property offers 20 unique guest rooms, private function spaces, and Dufour, an on-site award-winning restaurant and bar. The venue offers plenty of historical charm and Maine-style hospitality. The Stage House Inn specializes in hosting private events. These include micro weddings (for up to 70 guests), showers, corporate events, holiday parties, baptism celebrations, funeral receptions, celebrations of life, and other events for 25-150 guests. Since the late 1700s, the structure that now houses Stage House Inn and Dufour has served many purposes. From a private residence, it soon became a stagecoach stop where visitors would stop to eat and lodge at Frost Tavern. Following that, it was Paul’s Hotel, and eventually also served as a boarding house. Then, for nearly 70 years it was a convent run by the Sisters of St. Joseph Order. It was also a christian school. The Watson homestead was established in Hiram, Maine in 1785 and is the oldest house in Oxford County. Located on 28 acres of rolling fields, soaring pine forests, stone walls and 1250 ft of Saco River frontage the house has been lovingly restored with an eye to historical integrity . Come see our Barn and ceremony space. We also offer overnight accommodation in the farm house for up to eight guests.

The Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden is a historic house museum, known as a hidden gem of Portsmouth, with views of the Piscataqua River. It is an ideal location for intimate weddings. The Moffatt-Ladd House was built between 1760 and 1763 for the only son of John Moffatt, one of the wealthiest men in the colony of New Hampshire prior to the Revolution. Samuel and Sarah Catherine Moffatt were the first to live in the house and they took up residence shortly after their wedding in February 1764. They would be the beginning of almost 150 years of the same family living in the stately home on Fore Street (now Market Street), overlooking the Piscataqua River.

This iconic 1801 meetinghouse, known for its Federalist style architecture, is located within the historic district of downtown Newburyport, Ma. Its steeple, a renowned symbol of this quaint New England town, is visible from miles around. Atop the steeple sits a bell crafted by the Paul Revere & Sons foundry in 1816. Inside the meeting house, your guests will sit in the original box pews surrounded by 41 large pane glass windows which illuminate the sanctuary with natural light all year round. The meetinghouse also houses the 1834 Joseph Alley organ and an 1898 Steinway model A grand piano. The space is also set up for live streaming.
