Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Milledgeville, GA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Blooms looked amazing, smelled great, and no one had any idea I built the bouquets myself. It was a fun process!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

Redlands, CA
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Milledgeville, GA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I'm so glad I found The Faux Bouquets. I loved that I could design something custom, but with artificial flowers that don't ever wilt and that I can keep on my desk to look at as a memory. They are so helpful with ideas, have such pretty flowers, and I'm so happy I found them!

I did a lot of searching and looking into different diy flower companies. As soon as I came across bloom culture and read some of the reviews I knew I wanted to go with them! Alison was so friendly and personable and so easy to work with. She helped put me at ease by answering all of my questions and even helped me to swap out a couple of the flowers in one of the packages to better match my vision for my wedding. I was a little nervous about the flowers lasting all the way until the wedding day (my wedding was on a Sunday and they arrived Wednesday) but by the day of they had opened up beautifully and looked amazing. There were also hardly any flowers damaged or broken when they arrived. With all of the detailed instructions and recipes they provided, putting together the flowers was honestly a breeze once we got started. We didn’t follow the instructions specifically because I had a different number of bouquets, center pieces, etc. that I need to make, but the recipes and instructions were still super helpful. I also watched Alison’s YouTube videos beforehand which helped a ton! Overall very happy with the quality of the flowers, the price, and the excellent customer service. Cannot recommend enough!

We had a wonderful experience working with Ina from Silk Vine as our florist for our wedding this fall. Ina was a delight to work with, demonstrating great attention to detail, professionalism, creativity and care. She kept me informed every step of the way, and promptly responded to emails, welcomed my feedback, and was always open to suggestions. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements she created based on my somewhat unusual design requests and color palette were absolutely spectacular--I was blown away! She created beautiful, romantic, and highly original arrangements that incorporated seasonal branches, greenery, and even fruit to create a truly one-of-a-kind look. I contacted Katie 5 years ago to order a custom bouquet and boutonniere for my literary themed wedding that took place in the KC Public Library. The Flower Garden Shop

5.0

McDonough, GA
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Milledgeville, GA

Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

Awarded Best of Zola
Madi at The Flower Garden Shop helped us when our florist backed out at the last minute. I don't know what we would have done without her help. She fit us into her schedule and made the whole situation seamless. Thank you so much, Madi!
