My husband, Ryan, and I had our wedding at Windows on the Water this June, and it was truly magical, everything we had ever dreamed of, and more. We’ve always loved the water, so we toured several venues with waterfront views. The moment we walked into Windows on the Water, it was breathtaking! We knew instantly this was where we wanted to say “I do.” When we booked WoW, Ryan’s health was uncertain. He had been diagnosed with cancer just months earlier. We held onto the hope of creating the dream wedding we envisioned, even though at times it felt like an unattainable goal. Thankfully, Ryan responded quickly to treatment, his health improved dramatically, and we continued planning. From the very start, Mike H. was nothing short of amazing. We shared our story, and his support and genuine care went far beyond a business transaction. He understood our journey, and his check-ins throughout the months leading up to the wedding made us feel special and hopeful that our dream would become a reality. Prior to the big day, Cheryl was a lifesaver, patiently answering all my questions and guiding us through the details . On our wedding day, she managed everything with such professionalism and care that all we had to do was enjoy the moment. It was a heatwave that day, but the staff went above and beyond, attending to our every need and even making sure we stayed hydrated! Every detail was perfect from how they arranged our decor to planning everything. We’ve heard countless compliments from our guests, about the delicious food, the stunning views, and how it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Even months later, people are still raving about it! We feel incredibly grateful, not only that Ryan’s health improved, but that we were able to live our dream day surrounded by our friends and family. Our wedding will forever be the most wonderful and meaningful day of our lives, and we owe so much of that to Mike, Cheryl, and the entire WoW team. If you want to get married somewhere with a gorgeous view, with incredible food and the most attentive staff then run, don’t walk, to Windows on the Water!

You read many times that the SCM staff is absolutely incredible, and there is nothing more true! Ian is one of the kindest, caring, most thoughtful and passionate individuals I’ve ever met. From our finals meeting, we clicked and he has done absolutely anything he can to be sure we would have a special day. From setting up decor, to the ceremony running exactly on time, to encouraging guests to play our games and sign our guest book…. he does it all. Let me tell you from someone who was constantly on the fence about getting a DOC - you won’t need one with Ian. At least from the second you arrive at Sea Cliff. He wants to work with you to be sure it is a special day for you!! Camille was fabulous, bustling me all night, keeping us fed, reminding us to “mangia” Every server and bartender we came across was super personable and friendly. It was truly the happiest day of our lives!! They are the whole package. Responsive, caring and the kindest most genuine people and is so refreshing after touring so many other LI Venues that do not show the same level of care. You will not regret booking with Sea Cliff!!

We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!
