Let our family take care of everything — from the tables and chairs to the music and wedding cake, our professional in-house services can handle it all so you don't have to worry about dealing with other vendors. The Abbot Room
Your love story deserves a space this unforgettable
Adjacent to Porta's main dining room, The Abbot Room is a completely private 2500 square foot space with a 20-foot ceiling and stained concrete floor. It includes a private entrance, outdoor space, full bar, and private restrooms, as well as a dance floor boasting a crystal canopy, an art installation that doubles as a DJ booth, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. It's a rich, dramatic backdrop for any event. Best of all, it's just a block from the beach.

An absolute gem
Porta was truly incredible for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt, effective, and incredibly kind - they were patient with all our questions and made us feel so heard. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with an extremely unique and almost gothic/romantic vibe that was perfect for our wedding. The food was amazing (we are still receiving compliments!) and the value is literally unmatched anywhere else in the area. The wedding coordinators went above and beyond, even helping us out with last-minute hair fixes when we got a bit windblown during photos. Elizabeth even changed my shoes for me after the ceremony because it was hard to bend down in my dress! They quickly answered all our emails leading up to the big day and were so flexible and accommodating. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect, thanks to the incredible team at Porta. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stunning, unique, and amazing value for their wedding.
Above and beyond any expectations
We could not be happier that we picked Porta as our wedding venue. The process was so easy, they have so many different options for packages of food and alcohol, and everything was phenomenal. We got so many good reviews of the food and the service. They set up the tables beautifully and when we got there earlier for the wedding we got a sneak peek of them setting up. Very efficient and I did not have to adjust anything. I dropped off all of our stuff in the morning and they set it all up beautifully. Karina helped us finalize all of our details and was so accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Elizabeth - we could not say enough good things about. She was on top of EVERYTHING the whole night and made us feel so taken care of. From set up, to making sure the procession went well, to getting us food and drinks all night, organizing the timeline, keeping everything clean, I don’t think we saw her stop going all night. She was incredible. We did not have one worry and she made sure everything was packed up and ready to go for us at the end, including all the extra food for our guests. She even saved us a piece of our wedding cake. Above and beyond - cannot say enough great things about this experience. We’re so happy! If you’re thinking of this venue, DO IT. You won’t regret it.
Porta is the best
Porta was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent - they were responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The space itself is really great, with a hip, eclectic vibe that perfectly suited our style. On the day of the wedding, the Porta team was incredibly organized and helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly so we could just focus on enjoying the celebration. We're so glad we chose Porta to host our special day.
Amazing Venue
Porta was an absolute dream to work with for our Halloween wedding! Their communication was always quick, clear, and timely, which was so helpful during the busy planning process. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our guests' dietary restrictions and made the set up and clean up process a breeze. The handle everything from florals, cake and decor. The quality of their work was truly magical - the space they transformed for our big day was dramatic and fun, setting the perfect mood for our spooky celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Porta made our special day feel truly one-of-a-kind. It also reasonably priced compared to other venues.
