Located only 35 minutes away from downtown Chicago, the estate's smallest room can host a minimum of 30 guests, while the largest ballroom can accommodate up to 350.

Located in the Michigan City's Uptown Arts District surrounded by history sits this 150+ year old church. It was fully renovated in 2020 while keeping the charm of old architecture. We offer an experience that merges the past and the present through modern comfort and historical luxury. All eyes will be focused on you as you enter our beautiful ballroom. As you begin your magical journey down our center aisle, you will meet the love of your life, where the two of you will vow your love to one another. Exiting the ballroom as a newly married couple, you’ll begin your new life in celebration with your guests during cocktail hour in our lounge & historic courtyard. Once returning to the cathedral ballroom, you will enter into your gorgeous, fully transformed dinner and reception space. This is your night!

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Friendship Botanic Gardens offers a stunning and unique setting for outdoor weddings and special events, nestled within over 100 acres of woods and beautifully landscaped gardens. Available from May 1st through October 31st, the Gardens provide a picturesque backdrop for ceremonies and receptions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations of up to 300 guests, with options for custom designs to accommodate even larger events. Every wedding includes ceremony chairs, a three-hour venue rental, a one-hour rehearsal, use of the Wedding Cabin, golf cart assistance, and the dedicated assistance of our Wedding Coordinator. Couples also enjoy access to the entire Gardens on their event day, a milestone brick in the Symphony Garden fountain terrace, and a yearlong membership to Friendship Botanic Gardens.
