She took my original idea and brought it to life with amazing detail, creativity And style only an expert with artistic talent would be able to bring that would make any bride envious. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“From the moment I said yes, I knew florals would be the highlight of decor for our wedding day. Flowers hold such sentimental value for me because I’d spend my springs planting hundreds of annuals with my baba: zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, marigolds, begonias, etc. Going to my grandparents house was like going to a magical flower garden, and I wanted to recreate that feeling for our guests. After seeing Misha’s previous floral designs, I knew she would be able to bring what I had in mind to life; she did that and then some. The florals she lined my aisle with were exactly what I pictured: lush, whimsical, fun and filled with purples, oranges and greens. Those florals were then repurposed as centerpieces in the main reception tent and somehow became even more mystical underneath that lighting. On our way to the tent, we were amazed at the flowers on the seating chart wall. Dahlias and snapdragons, two of my absolute favorites… in colors that left me feeling the moody, romantic vibe I wanted and had described in design meetings with Misha leading up to the day. The flowers that adorned the tent’s entrance and up the poles created the most magical atmosphere. Sitting at our sweetheart table, we were surrounded by more florals that were repurposed from the ceremony; this time I believe from the gazebo, one of the most sentimental pieces of the day. Our reception tent really felt like a magical flower garden filled with our favorite people; exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.”

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

“We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!”

She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order. I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. One of the coolest parts of this experience was being able to choose my own color scheme and she designed the flowers exactly how I envisioned them. Dana also worked with me to match everything to my color palette, offering great suggestions along the way. On my wedding day, she came in while we were getting ready and set everything up beautifully. She even sent me photos during setup to confirm I liked the placement. The floral displays on the tables were gorgeous, and the pergola she decorated turned out stunning! She also shared helpful tips on how to re-use the ceremony florals for the cocktail hour and reception tables/decor, which saved us on cost and over-ordering. At the end of the night, Dana came back to retrieve the larger pieces and centerpieces, but we got to keep our beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. “We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house!
