The trial in September was beautiful, and Holly used it to test and figure out exactly how to execute what I wanted. I couldn't be more impressed and thrilled with how my hair and makeup came out. Her skills and care really shone through on my wedding day in every way, from how she carefully matched the size of my natural curls when she had to add more, to how she used light concealer on my face instead of heavy foundation to match my preferences and made sure I was comfortable. I wanted to look like myself but more on my wedding day, and thanks to Holly I really did. I'm also still impressed with how secure my flower crown was--it was pinned in place with two braids wrapped around and only two pins, and still difficult for me to remove! It didn't budge at all, even with hours of dancing! And my makeup survived all 11 hours of getting ready, photos, ceremony, photos again, and the reception even with me bursting into happy tears FIVE TIMES! He did our engagement photos for us and He adapted to our new wedding date! He came out to our venue early. While their team did a great job with the bride and bridal party's makeup on the big day, I would recommend doing a trial with them first to ensure they fully understand your desired look. It's important to be very specific about what you want and not waver, as I found they tend to stray from a natural style if not given clear direction. “I write this review to commend Tori on not only her outstanding photography skills, but also her precision, organization, professionalism, and above all else kindness as a wedding/special events photographer. We interviewed Tori in January 24’ for our October 24’ wedding and immediately knew she would be perfect for the job. From the very beginning, she proposed an entire wedding schedule that was inclusive of special sites we wanted photographed around the venue. She knew exactly what time the sun was to set and had a keen eye and expertise working with indoor/outdoor lighting. Between when we hired her and the wedding she went out of her way to stay in touch and check in and even visited the venue to brainstorm additional photography ideas and pick out various locations for perfect shots. Her performance on the big day was absolutely phenomenal. She was a joy to work with, made everyone feel comfortable, and helped where she could even when she did not have to. She truly helped the day go smoothly, helping my family steam my dress, bustled my dress for me and put my veil in. She truly went above and beyond. I was the special occasion hair specialist for Jamison Shaw Hairdressers in Atlanta Ga. for 3 years. I've traveled all over for photo shoots and weddings from NYC, Chicago, Mexico, Bermuda and Spain! I was a stylist for the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders from 2007-2011. My work has been published in the Atlantan, Jezebel magazine, Atlanta Weddings Magazine, and People magazine. My greatest accomplishment was doing the hair for all the bridesmaids and moms in Carrie Underwoods wedding.
