“Working with Martin from start to finish was an absolute dream. He was very professional, communication was excellent, and he always found time to chat with us if we had any questions we wanted to talk through. We had big dreams of doing our first looks at Grand Central, and considering our wedding/prep was in Brooklyn, this was definitely not going to be an easy feat to squeeze in with the travel time. But Martin helped us make the timeline, and although we ended up falling behind schedule, still managed to get us there with the most amazing photos and videos. He and Kero are literally the coolest people we've ever met, and they made a full day of posing and smiling so much more fun and lighthearted. And everything we did was all part of such a smart plan - there were some poses/shots that in the moment we thought felt odd, but looking back at the final edits it all came together. Their team works on other projects outside of weddings, and you can really see their artistry come through in the finished products. Our wedding photos are beautifully edited, and really captured all the most important aspects of the day. And the candid shots we got from our reception truly convey the energy and excitement of the night. The videos are exceptional. From each new snippet that got released on social media, to the final products of our 10 minute highlight reel and full documentary, we can look back on our wedding and feel like we're watching a movie trailer or a music video. The way the clips were synced with the music was so magical, and it all just flowed in a way that makes so much sense. “I truly cannot put into words how amazing our entire experience was from start to finish. We found John and Avec L'Amour through our photographer, Heather Soucy. She told me that her family even used John for her brother's wedding because of everyone she has worked with, she trusted him to document their special day in the best way. That spoke volumes to me. When I say these two are a 'dream team' I am not kidding. As someone who had never been professionally photographed or video'd before, I was really nervous about looking and feeling awkward. John made my husband, Mike, and me feel SO comfortable throughout the whole day. It was so cool seeing these two incredibly creative minds feeding off each other to get the best possible shot. It was a little rainy on our day and they actually took video/photos of us inside a puddle reflection--I mean who thinks of that?! We were running a little late to the reception when our portraits were supposed to be taken and John knew we didn't want to miss too much of cocktail hour. We were able to get the most beautiful shots in just 30 minutes, including drone, which was super important to us. The Avec L'Amour team got absolutely stunning video without us feeling like we had cameras in our faces all night. We booked John for the 8-hour package, but realized we were not going to be able to get the bouquet toss or cake cutting in that time frame. NO worries!! John offered to stay an extra hour to capture the remainder of the evening. Now for the deliverables: we got our first teaser video back within 3 weeks of our day and I was absolutely blown away. We received the full gallery which included a 1 minute teaser, 3 minute trailer, and the full 1.5 hour long event not even a MONTH after our wedding day. It was just like watching a move of all our favorite people and he captured the day so perfectly. I cannot say enough: RUN, don't walk to book John and Avec L'Amour for your special day!! Worth every penny. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. We ordered plenty and people were grabbing them to take home at the end of the night. A perfect snack after a few beers. Theu were very fast with the samples and the order too!”
