“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

The team’s schedule for setup and breakdown was tailored to our needs, and everyone was prompt, professional, and kind. They even offered to store our Indian floral garlands (from another shop) the day before the wedding to save us the hassle of finding fridge space. We received countless compliments on our bouquets, mandap florals, the ceiling greenery (which looked absolutely magical), and how beautifully the florals were repurposed throughout the day. Nicole and her team worked quietly behind the scenes when needed and stepped in with support when appropriate, always striking the right balance. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible and collaborative they were. From those first drawing classes as a five-year-old to making clothes and furniture for her Barbies, she knew she loved the creative process. The journey that culminated in the opening of Floral Wonders includes interning at a milliner's shop, graduating from Harrington College of Interior Design in Chicago, and hands-on experience in the world of interior design, photography, and fashion.

“Floral Wonders did an amazing job for our wedding! I don’t know anything about flowers but I sent inspo pics of floral pillars and they absolutely nailed it. They were gorgeous and exactly how I had pictured them. They deconstructed the pillars after the ceremony for loose florals on the reception tables, which also turned out exactly as I had imagined. The boutonnières and corsages were perfect and the bridal party bouquets were beautiful. I loved my bridal bouquet - I’m in the process of preserving it into a resin table so I can keep it forever. Everyone I spoke to leading up to the wedding plus the staff onsite on the day of were so nice and professional - I am so happy we went with Floral Wonders for our wedding day!”

I love to create… I’m in my happy place when I’m able to create. My career in floral design started while I was still in college obtaining a business degree. Like a lot of college students, I spent my summer interning in an office environment…and quickly realized that wasn’t how I wanted to live my life. I needed something different, something that would allow me to more fully utilize my creativity and desire to design. When I returned to campus in the fall, I started working part time at a small floral shop. It wasn’t long before I knew I’d found my love and my passion.

“We used Lori for our wedding and I’m so glad we did! After our initial meeting to go over my ideas, she created this beautiful vision board / proposal combo complete with inspiration pictures, our color palette, and different arrangement options we could choose from. That made me feel so confident that she got my vision too and that we would end up loving the final product on our big day. The day of the wedding, the florals were absolutely beautiful and she took care of full set up and then tear down at the end of the evening.
