Situated in the pine trees of Nacogdoches, Texas, our 1914 registered historic church was home to one of the oldest African American congregations in the state. Built by famed architect Diedrich Rulfs, Zion Hill Baptist Church is the embodiment of timeless Southern elegance and simplicity. The church has been restored over the years to its former glory and updated with modern heating and cooling systems, security systems, and handicap accessibility so that it may continue to be a pillar of the community through historical preservation and social engagement. Guests have held cocktail parties, receptions, team-building painting parties, book signings, and fundraisers to name a few. 1200sq-ft loft with exposed brick and concrete floors. The space offers a unique atmosphere for intimate events. The gallery can accommodate 60 guests cocktail-style standing (using indoor and patio).
