We got married on 11/23/24. Marty was our DJ and was absolutely amazing! We wanted to change a few of the traditional parts of the wedding reception and he was more than accommodating. He helped us come up with ideas to incorporate the guests and start our wedding with high energy. He was always quick to respond and a great help in guiding us on how to find the right flow for our wedding to help get the vibe we were looking for. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night and there was never a lull! Since our wedding we have heard from so many people how much fun they had and a big part of that is because we had a great DJ that helped create the best energy for our wedding night!

We had our wedding at Groveland Fairways by Wedgewood Weddings on 4/26/25! We initially got in contact with Groveland Fairways in the very early part of 2024, and it didn’t take long for us to decide that this was the venue for us! Since booking, the venue changed ownership and became a part of Wedgewood Weddings & Events. WW honored our pre-existing contract we had with Groveland Fairways and the transition was seamless! From the get-go, the WW team set up our planning meeting, details call, final meeting, and rehearsal. We had A LOT of TBDs after our first planning meeting, so thank you to the WW team for your patience! We primarily worked with Nicole, but the whole team was VERY involved. Everyone at Groveland Fairways was professional, organized, accommodating, available, and helpful. I’m originally from CT, so on more than one occasion I’d let the WW team know (with only a few days notice) that my mom was coming up and wanted to stop by the venue to plan things out and visualize the day. We never felt like an inconvenience and the WW team was there for us if we had questions but also let us walk around and do our thing. We planned to get married outside by the arbor (Terrace Garden), but the old saying “April showers bring May flowers” stayed true to its word and we had rain. Fortunately, Groveland Fairways has a beautiful indoors option (Fireside Room) and it worked out perfectly for us. It was a more intimate setting for us and all of our favorite people. WW offers multiple enhancements if you want to elevate your special day or make it more custom to you and your style, but we felt that the venue was simple and beautiful on its own! It fit our 135 guests very comfortably. There are multiple spots around the venue to take pictures - whether it be on the front porch, under the porte cochere, up in the new bridal suite, outside on the putting green, or around the grounds with the arborvitaes and white trellis in the background. We don't have enough good things to say about Groveland Fairways, it's charm, and incredibly thoughtful team! Thank you to everyone at Groveland Fairways, who made this experience SO EASY and our day so special!

We had a room block here for our wedding in Beverly, and hosted a brunch the day after (you have to have a catered event at the hotel in order to have a room block). Overall, our experience was pretty good. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were beautiful. The King Suite was great to get ready in - I had 11 people getting hair and makeup done, with 4 artists, and there was enough space. Having the Regatta Pub on site was perfect for a welcome event and post-wedding spot and could easily accommodate a large influx of people. The brunch was ready to go with plenty of tasty food and drink. They also were able to hand out welcome bags when guests checked in. Kristen, who organized the room block, was extremely communicative and responsive to our emails, and helped us add rooms to our block a couple times. We are rating 4/5 stars for a couple reasons. First is that housekeeping never came to the suite to clean after we had left for the wedding, so we returned at the end of the night to all of the room-service coffee/breakfast items that had arrived at 8:30 that morning. When we called the front desk, no one answered. Secondly, while the brunch was great, they do charge a large room fee and administrative fee.

An Unforgettable Experience at The Hawthorne Hotel We had the most wonderful experience hosting our rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, and farewell brunch at The Hawthorne Hotel, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice! From start to finish, every aspect of the service, food, and ambiance was absolutely perfect. The hotel’s vintage charm was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding weekend, and it provided the perfect setting for all of our events. The food was a highlight of our weekend. At the rehearsal dinner, we had the Chicken Milanese entrée, which was a huge hit with our guests. So many people mentioned how much they loved it, and the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The service throughout all of our events was impeccable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. One of the things we loved most about the Hawthorne Hotel was how perfectly it fit our aesthetic for the wedding weekend. The vintage character of the hotel gave everything a timeless, elegant feel, and it was the ideal backdrop for our celebrations, even though our wedding and reception were off-site. We absolutely adored the hotel’s library space, which hosted our farewell brunch. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and meaningful gathering with our closest family and friends. The space was beautifully decorated, and it truly set the tone for a lovely, laid-back morning after the big day. Our hotel suite was equally impressive. It was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind after a busy weekend. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both enjoyed a restful night’s sleep. It was a great retreat for us during such a busy time and offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A huge thank you to our amazing events coordinator, Beth Pasquarello. Beth was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, honest, and caring. We never felt out of the loop, and she was always there to offer advice and solutions. One great example of her attention to detail was when she helped us secure a microphone for the rehearsal dinner, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and personal touch made the entire experience so much easier and stress-free. If you’re looking for a beautiful, historic venue with fantastic service, delicious food, and a truly memorable atmosphere, we highly recommend The Hawthorne Hotel. We had a wonderful wedding at the Nahant Country Club. Yasmene and Heather were great to work with and our wedding ran incredibly smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, our guests had a great time. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we additionally received an off season discount. Their wedding packages include so much beyond the standard wedding packages including the use of the bridal suite, appetizers/champagne in the bridal suite on the wedding day, use of their (beautiful) centerpieces, a separate happy hour for the wedding party during photographs and much more. Yasmene went above and beyond on our wedding day- she even sewed my nephew's superhero mask when it broke. Many of our guests commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they had ever seen. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our selection of the Nahant Country Club. It is a beautiful venue run by incredibly efficient and kind women!

Alyse worked with my fiancé and I for our engagement shoot at Beacon Hill. Since we are from out of town (NY) and the shoot took place at the height of Covid, this required some strategic planning on both ends. Alyse was so kind and flexible to work with. She assured us that even if last minute changes due to Covid had to happen, she would work with us. I was very stressed with the entire situation, but Alyse’s calm, reassuring personality put my mind at ease. She has many great ideas, but also listens to your vision and is open to doing shots that you like. We loved the way she captured who we are as a couple, in a place that is special to us. We received many compliments on our save the date cards which featured the photos from our shoot. We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Barn at Bradstreet! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm of the venue and the professionalism of the entire team. Despite a few surprises from Mother Nature, the staff handled everything with grace, creativity, and calm. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rustic charm meets elegant design in a beautiful setting. Every corner is photo-worthy, from the beautifully restored barn to the lush outdoor spaces. Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

Her background in planning events started in the nonprofit industry in 2004, when she was responsible for coordinating the annual Shake it for Shelter fundraising event at COMPASS for Kids for several years. At Cradles to Crayons, Sarah oversaw all of the organization's signature events, including the 700-person annual Backpack-a-thon and the largest fundraiser of the year, the "Un-Gala". Sarah also worked at Facing History and Ourselves, where she planned their annual 900-person benefit dinner and advised their ten company offices on event strategy and execution.

My husband and I were initially unsure about hiring a Day of Wedding Coordinator, but looking back, we are so glad we did - and even more grateful we were paired with Amy. She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, offering guidance on things we hadn't even considered - like creating a cleanup plan and making sure important items, such as the card box, had a designated person to remove them at the end of the night. On the day of our wedding, Amy was absolutely invaluable. She was present every step of the way, handling all the behind-the-scenes complications that we weren't even aware of. Thanks to her, the entire evening was completely stress-free for us. We were able to be fully present and just enjoy the moment with each other, knowing that everything was being taken care of. Our wedding went off "without a hitch", and we credit so much of that to Amy's calm professionalism and attention to detail. My now wife and I were searching high and low for a wedding venue that would be something different than the typical wedding cookie cutter experience. We wanted a venue that was like no other and that our family and friends fell in love with. We came across The Bell Inn and it was truly the greatest find. The beautifully restored historical property locally located in a beautiful north shore city was truly a gem to find. The inn is so picturesque and also located steps away from downtown Peabody which provided even more beautiful backgrounds for photographs. As if the gorgeous property that photographs beautifully wasn’t enough, the food is superb, and the staff is incredibly accommodating, kind and go above and beyond. Every request and inquiry we made was met with a smile that exceeded my wife and I’s expectations. The moment we walked through the door we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married at. It is truly the perfect venue because it is one stop shop. My wife and I checked in on Friday afternoon to one of the ten picturesque suites. Each suite was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated which paid homage to the history of the building. We had our delicious rehearsal dinner which all of the guests raved about. We then enjoyed our dream wedding in the outdoor courtyard, with a menu my wife and I hand picked with the Inn manager’s help. Shout out to Heather who is simply the best! To finish the evening we were able to host our after party in the speakeasy. The next morning we had a delicious brunch to end the dream weekend. Everyone has not stoped talking about our wedding, including us. The rooms, the tavern, the courtyard, the speakeasy, are all the space you need! We love the Bell Inn and can’t wait to return for date nights, anniversaries, and to one day bring our children. The Bell Inn isn’t a place to us they became a family.

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!
