Open Farmhouse is located on 300 acres of protected land in Redding, Connecticut. Just an hour and a half drive from New York City, it’s easily accessible by car or short shuttle from metro north. As part of a working farm, guests experience farm fresh produce, bucolic views and engagement with the land. Built in 1840, the historic Federal Style house sits at the center of the farm, with sweeping views of the surrounding fields and forests. Restored true to its era, it’s a grand yet inviting space for gatherings of 10 to 50 people. Five private bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, with simple furnishings and comfortable mattresses. Three shared bathrooms allow everyone to get ready for the day. All linens and towels provided. Our vision is to create a place that fosters connection to the land, strengthens community, and plants seeds for cultural renewal.

Our vineyard and winery are located in Southold, NY. Previously a potato and melon farm, Claudia fell in love with the property across from her home and when it came up for sale in 2001 she did not want to see the farm developed. After closing her restaurant in western Nassau county she went forward with purchasing the property and selling the development rights to preserve it's beauty. Since then she's slowly hand planted and renovated the potato barns that existed on the property into her winery.

Castle Hill Farm is a family wedding and event venue, nestled within the town of Newtown. The farm has gardens, hay fields, a greenhouse, and pastures of cows that serve as a rustic backdrop for your outdoor wedding. We have set the stage for your wedding, however, we allow you to make it your own. We are located in a scenic part of Newtown, in the southwestern part of Connecticut, only minutes away from the historical Newtown's Center and Flagpole.
