I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism from the University of Missouri, *cough cough* known as the best journalism school in the nation. Throughout my schooling, I trained closely with award-winning photojournalists Rita Reed and David Rees, and I’ve worked with organizations like the Washington Post and USA Today. Usually, I would tell me couples "I've been doing this too long". But then I'll realize that I've been saying that for a long time now. I also would tell me couple that my main job is their story teller. That's the fun part. Before I even get to the first hundred photos, I would try to get to know them first. How they are with each other, how they met, how they stand next to each other and how they hold one another. I also try to find out how they smile and laugh with each other. Those would be the ingredients I need to make great photos with them. I've been a photographer for almost 2 decades, a dad, a husband and weekend adventurer.
