Sherri (Goodlove Arts) is a very kind and creative woman who helped me bring my floral vision to life! I loved that she is a small business owner and can give you the time and attention you need in planning a wedding. I gave her the refrence photos and she executed the ideas perfectly and even better than I could have imagined. She let me change items in the propsal as details of the rest of the wedding planning became more clear. She was consitiant in her communications with me and always available if I had questions. She made sure of the scheudle and communicated with me on delivery times and gave her professional insights on when would be best for day-of deliveries, best type of florals to use for the time year, best floral ideas for the budget (which she was respectful of), and was able to use her connections to give us a great deal. She was a pleasure to work with; my girls and I LOVED our bouquests! I had her do the boutonniere's, hand corsages, and real petals for the flower girls. She was able to put together the boutineeres using magnets wich was a great touch! She also did our centerpieces which was bud vases with different florals in each one, still all in the same "theme" and she helped set those up the day of. They looked gorgeous and fit the vibe so well. Thank you so much Sherri for helping make our day beatiful and fresh!! 10/10 recommend to any bride or anyone throwing a party and needing florals!

Polly's Petals
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Libertyville, IL
  • Starts at $3,000

Polly Klein, AIFD, CFD, is proprietor, artist and designer. Certified for floral design. We have been in business for 20 years and located in Libertyville, Illinois which is Northern Lake County. We serve communities from the Chicagoland area to Southeastern Wisconsin. We combine high quality, distinctive, flowers and stunning décor to bring your vision for your event to life. We insist on quality, have high standards for customer service and continue our education in the floral and special events industry.

Polly and her talented team did a fabulous job designing my dream wedding! During our first meeting, Polly helped us nail down the color scheme and took time out of her busy schedule to get to know my family. We stayed over 2 hours at her shop when we had a half hour consultation appointment! Her floral team then provided a comprehensive document that listed the flowers in the bridesmaid bouquet, and examples of what the table center pieces could look like. One of my favorite features that Polly included in the wedding package was that the groomsmen had magnetic boutonnières. It was perfect for my younger brothers with Autism and it substantially reduced the amount of pricked fingers the day of the wedding. Leading up to the wedding weekend, Polly arranged for a floral preview where it was similarly set up to my reception layout. It was breathtaking to see in person! My family knew we were in great hands because of Polly’s keen attention to detail. Once the big day arrived, Polly and her team frequently communicated with my day-of coordinator to ensure the florals were on time. My family and bridal party heard o many compliments throughout the wedding that the flowers were the most beautiful arrangements they had ever seen. Polly brilliantly made the low center pieces in take home vases for guests so that they could be cherished afterwards. I was so obsessed with my bridal bouquet that I am preserving it into a serving tray for my new home. Polly is a tremendous artist and takes deep pride in her work. I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding magical and my dreams come to life!

Svitlana and team’s florals completely elevated our wedding. I truly don’t think it would have looked as magical as it did without her florals! She did SUCH a beautiful job capturing the romantic, garden-party vibe. I got SO many compliments on the florals! My bouquet was GORGEOUS. I loved the colors. I wish I had had plans to professionally preserve it, but I pressed a few flowers from it. The wedding ceremony decor was so lush, and she even added some extra small details to the aisle/ chairs! For the reception we had round tables, plus one long table for the head table with a garland, and it was perfect. 100% go with Sweety Dream, you will not regret it!!

Sometimes even the most seasoned florists can be a little challenging to work with--difficult to reach, lack of clarity in proposals, etc.--so I had my guard up. However, Klaudia blew me away! Not only is she an incredibly talented designer, she's a true pro who is so on top of her game. She's the total package. I recommend her very highly and frequently bring clients to her because I know she will do an amazing job every time!

Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Libertyville, IL

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
Use The Faux Bouquets! I know there are a lot of options out there for faux florals, but this company really stands out. Absolutely gorgeous selections. We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower. The company communication is quick, kind, informative, and they are just all around amazing!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

We hired Bunny for floral design and event coordination for our wedding and she went above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. After 9 months of planning we had to completely change our wedding location (from Kalamazoo to Detroit), venue (from an indoor Loft space to an outdoor patio), and our guest count (from 200 people to 40) due to the pandemic. Replanning an entire wedding in 3 months is not ideal, but Bunny made it much easier and decreased all of my anxiety and stress. Every time I would get off a phone call with her, I would tell my fiancé, “Wow. I feel so much better. Bunny is just so great.” Her creative ideas and helpful suggestions throughout the planning process were greatly appreciated. The floral arrangements she created were the perfect combination of all my Pinterest pins and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She created an incredibly detailed timeline for the weekend of the wedding with items on it I would have never even thought about had she not brought them up. She helped run our rehearsal the night before the wedding, and set up all the floral arrangements and décor in the church and at our reception venue. All I had to do the weekend of our wedding was enjoy my time with family, friends and my husband. Bunny was an absolute pleasure to work with and we highly recommend hiring her as both a florist and event coordinator to make your wedding day beautiful and stress free. You will not be disappointed!

Nicole is the definition of a true professional. She delivers exactly what she promises. The compliments from guests on our wedding florals were endless, and even now, people are still talking about how beautiful everything looked. If you’ve ever planned a wedding or a large-scale event, you know how overwhelming it can be. I spoke with several florists before finding Nicole, and the difference was night and day. One florist brushed me off because I didn’t know the exact flowers I wanted during our first call. Another abruptly asked (5 minutes in) if I was just using them to learn flower names before cutting me off mid-conversation. It was discouraging, to say the least. Then there was Nicole. From our very first call, I felt at ease. I wasn’t looking to spend thousands and thousands on florals, and I didn’t have a detailed list of flowers in mind—just a general vibe and some inspo photos. Nicole took the time (over an hour on our first call!) to walk me through what would fit that vision, approximately what it would cost, and how she could bring it to life. She gave me guidance with zero pressure, and that genuine care and clarity made her the first vendor I signed after booking my venue. What impressed me most was how she respected my vision. I only wanted simple bud vases and understated elegance, and instead of pushing me to spend more or upsell me, she embraced my ideas wholeheartedly and executed them perfectly. On top of that, her delivery and set-up pricing was incredibly reasonable, and worth every penny. (Trust me—you don’t want your friends or family worrying about logistics on the morning of your wedding. Let Nicole handle it.) I would hire her again in a heartbeat. If you want a florist who is kind, professional, transparent, and talented—look no further than Nicole.

Vrinspirations
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Libertyville, IL

We are a family business, everything started 2019. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and I enjoy the process of planning events, decorations, scheduling, and timelines. I worked in the hotel business for almost 10 years until I realized that I wanted to start working in what I love and I'm passionate about. That's how I decided to open my own company!

Where do I begin? Lori and her team were absolutely fabulous, she did so much work behind the scenes to make our day special. We had a highly personalized and very detailed set up with WildmanBT and Lori took care of all of it. I hired her based on great reviews from the venue and she was always available to answer questions via text, phone call or email whenever I had them. We started working together nearly a year and a half before the event so we can truly say she put on a great show! She was helpful, knew exactly how long certain processes would take and was so impressive managing other vendors and the timing we didn't even have to think of anything the day of. We had a large bridal party as well that she knew how to command and manage a room - our rehearsal of over 25 people took only 20 minutes! She also "had a guy" for all things wedding you could think of - I highly recommend reviewing her website as she provides florals, centerpieces, decorations and various other items and services. If she didn't provide the service or product directly she knew a trusted source we could go to to get it. We paid extra to have Lori and her team set up the centerpieces and our decorations, they were PERFECTLY laid out to our specs. I am very "type-A" and hard to impress so it was no small feat to manage all our expectations and Lori blew them out of the water. Highly recommend (photo credit to Emma Mullins Photography)
