The communication with the venue staff leading up to our wedding was very quick and efficient, which we greatly appreciated during the hectic planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and magnificent - the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. On the day-of, the staff worked diligently and carefully to flip the room from the ceremony set up to the reception decor in a very short period of time. All of the vendors were polite, professional, and eager to assist us in any way possible. • Indoor
  • Starts at $100

As a non-profit organization, Community Courtyard is dedicated to providing over 10,000 square feet of facility space at below market rates. The graceful brick arches of its architectural design has made it a choice location for families, businesses, and schools to host weddings, events, and celebrations. From elegant dinner affairs to burlap and boots, the Community Courtyard lends its self to any type of wedding theme you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic charm with elegance
  • Bridal suite on site
  • Space for a large guest list

Venue considerations

  • No in-house catering options
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • On-site parking not available
With a short engagement and a tight budget, we were having a hard time finding a venue. On a whim, I randomly found Community Courtyard. Little did I know it has been a town staple in Plattsburg, MO for 20 years as an event space. The building itself is very historical, dating back to the 1800's. This building is a non-profit and runs as a food bank throughout the week, so you know your money is going to a good cause. They came at very reasonable price (about 70% lower than most places we looked at). Not only that but we got a lot of bang for our buck. They had decor we could use, a sound system, a cute bridal suite, they tore everything down for us for a small fee, and were super flexible with scheduling. It also holds a lot of guests and has ample kitchen space on both floors. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

The Weston Red Barn Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was clear, precise and accurate, putting our minds at ease throughout the entire planning process. On our special day, they were incredibly helpful - they were there to open the doors for me to walk out to the aisle, which I loved. We even forgot to bring the rope we were going to tie and they graciously gave us one of their own! The quality of their work and the value they provided was absolutely stunning, both inside and out. We love the venue and staff so much that we plan on going out there again for our anniversary and if we plan to renew our vows in the future. This venue is worth every penny and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, natural setting for their wedding day.

We spent two years planning our wedding, and the crew at Berry Acres were LIFE SAVERS! They answered every question we had, whether in person or in email, as quickly as they could. For the two years we planned, they kept in constant contact to check up on us and see if we needed help. They even let us display my husband's late father's project car inside. On wedding day, Emma constantly checked on us to make sure we were eating and staying hydrated, all while helping our family set up. If I could rate make than 5 stars, I would. I recommend them to everyone.
