The Hidden Homestead was founded to provide residents of Edmonson County a beautiful and unique venue for weddings and special events. With our picturesque grounds and dedication to customer satisfaction, we hope our venue will provide you with the fairytale wedding experience you’ve been dreaming of. At The Hidden Homestead, we offer four different wedding venue options on the property to accommodate both indoor and outdoor weddings. You have your choice of outdoor ceremony space as well as access to the barn. We also have ample all-indoor reception and ceremony options in case of inclement weather. The Hidden Homestead can accommodate up to 270 guests.

Whether you’re planning an elaborate outdoor wedding or an intimate corporate dinner, we will work with you to bring your vision to life and wow guests. When you decide on The Adalea, you are sure to receive a one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be found elsewhere. The Adalea’s endless versatility, exclusive opportunities, and prestigious atmosphere are just a few of the reasons you should look no further. Williams Cabin, a Moss-covered gem plucked straight from a fairytale, can be used as a “Groom’s Cabin,” comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. It is a unique, two-story structure that has a fireplace, bathroom, couch, mini fridge, and a bed. The coveted Bridal Suite offers a fireplace, bathroom, balcony access, and access to a section of the main house.

Crump Family Farm was established as its own entity as a farm in 1876. This wooded sanctuary would eventually be purchased by Jeff and Bessie Crump. This dutiful family consisting of Jeff, Bessie, and their 6 children, farmed the land for over 36 years. The full practice of raising and processing tobacco, cultivating large vegetable gardens, and sustaining, and controlling livestock was all normal routine in providing for a family of that era.

We are not another business, like a farm, a country club, or historic site that also does events occasionally. Special events ARE our business. After starting his own catering company, Chef Christopher immediately knew he wanted to own his own event venue. In 2011, EPIC Event Centre opened. Now it's all about every little detail! Chef Christopher's wife, Brenda, quickly fell in love with being an entrepreneur and become the CEO of the company. Two of their sons now work in the kitchen and one son is in sales and operations. Running a family business wasn't their original intention, it just happened naturally. But "the family" doesn't stop with just the Newtons. All our team members quickly become family! We tend to attract very passionate and detail oriented staff members whose #1 goal is to meet and exceed your expectations. We all love what we do and it shows.
