A mother of 4 with an entrepreneurial spirit, Dannie has shown so much love, care, and passion in the work she does; serving alongside her family is what she has always dreamed of doing. Dannie has been serving middle Tennessee since 1987, upon owning/operating several restaurants, and afterwards acting as food service director for a private facility for nearly a decade, until pursuing her dream of catering and starting her own business, Dannie Holmes Catering, in 2005. Fifteen years later, she still continues to pour her heart into her work of full service catering whilst preparing amazing southern meals out of her very own kitchen.

Welcome to Mama Gina Catering, an Authentic Italian Food Experience. All my menu items include the most amazing Italian flavors taught to me by my Nana from when I was a little girl. My grandparents, born & raised in Italy came to this country by way of Ellis Island. I loved listening to the stories they told with their Italian friends most of which spoke broken English. All of my teachings were hands on not hand written “little of this & little of that" then tasting until you are happy.
