“My husband and I recently got married at the stunning Lakefront Pavilion at Bay Pointe Inn — and from the very beginning, we knew it was the place we wanted to say “I do.” We have absolutely no regrets! The venue is breathtaking on its own, with gorgeous waterfront views that created the most peaceful, romantic atmosphere. On top of that, the staff’s hospitality was next-level. They provided so much helpful guidance throughout the planning process and truly made everything feel seamless. Even without a wedding planner, I felt fully supported thanks to their incredible in-house catering and event managers (shoutout to Mariesa and Juno!) and our amazing day-of coordinator, Meagan. She ran the show flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — I truly can’t thank her enough. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner onsite in the Fireside Room, which made everything so easy and gave us extra time to enjoy with our family and wedding party. The food was delicious, and another huge perk was staying in the beautiful Bay Pointe cottages. Having a place right at the venue for all of us to stay and celebrate together made the weekend even more special. All night long, our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. It was everything we dreamed of and more — the most magical place to start our forever. We truly couldn’t recommend Bay Pointe more!!”

“The Off Map Glamping team from start to finish was IMPECCABLE. Ronny and Lisa’s attention to detail and really knowing what works best for their property, made our wedding perfect. We didn’t live near by so they let us pop by as much as we could, whenever we asked, they made it work. Everyone working on the property was knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond. You can tell they really love what they do and they will truly do anything to make sure your day is like none other. No words can describe how amazing and helpful the weekend event staff, D, Sara, Lisa’s father and another gentleman all equally helpful and SOOO kind. We never felt like a bother but more so family. We had so many guests and vendors say that this wedding at Off Map Glamping was the best they’ve ever attended thus far and that would not have been remotely possible without the people mentioned above. We wish we could relive it over and over, it was that incredible. Connor and I will forever rave about this place and we are SO thankful we can come back to camp and visit!! This property stole a piece of our hearts and we know it will do the same for every couple that comes after us! We cannot recommend them enough. Bravo!”

“Having our wedding at Woldumar was SO, SO special!!! We took the risk of having an August 10 wedding in their barn with no A/C...and we were rewarded with beautiful 70 degree weather. One of their exhaust fans was broken, but they purchased window fans and an industrial fan to keep the air moving. Definitely not an issue for us given our incredible weather, but I was a little nervous in the lead-up. Victoria was SO EASY to work with, I cannot sing her praises enough. From booking until wedding day, she was right there with us. She had fantastic advice on vendors and ceremony details that made things go so smoothly (walking across the bridge was the best idea EVER). The golf cart photo tour was AWESOME, too! My husband and I are very outdoorsy, so it was fun to spend so much time outside on our big day. You can tell the Woldumar staff put a lot of love into their grounds. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was! It was truly the perfect venue for us. We didn't even need much decor because the barn and ceremony space are so beautiful on their own. We didn't purchase day-before or day-after barn access which made things a little chaotic. I recommend getting the day-after cleaning, as we were in a mad rush to get things cleaned before midnight on wedding day. The security guard was also very rude during clean up. I'd pay extra to not have to deal with him again... All in all, great venue for the outdoorsy couple! We loved being able to choose all of our own vendors, too. We felt like we had so much creative control, which we wouldn't have gotten at a full-service venue. It's also so comforting to know our money went to a nature center. Much better than a golf course, at least in my opinion!”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at the MSU Horticulture Gardens! We had our ceremony in the North Gardens outside, the cocktail hour in a covered tent right outside of the greenhouse, and the dinner and reception inside of the greenhouse. We had 118 guests and were able to do dinner and dancing inside of the greenhouse comfortably. Everything was set up promptly and was ready to go the day before. Working with the team was very collaborative and they provided lots of options while we were deciding what we wanted our layout to be. Amy was great to work with. They had lots of rental options such as chairs, tables, linens, bar, and backdrop curtain to elevate the space. There was a large walk-in cooler that we were given access to where we were able to keep our desserts and then store flowers/leftovers in over night after the wedding. During our tour we were a bit worried that the greenhouse would be very hot and that the fans would be loud, but they're able to cover the roof and we were able to rent standing fans that kept the venue cool without excessive noise and it totally fine. Everything came together beautifully on the day of and we are so happy with the day overall! We received so many compliments from guests and we would definitely recommend the North Gardens as a wedding venue.”
