“Defiance Hall is a remarkable setting for a special event. Having attended a Scottish dinner there, I was amazed at the meticulous renovations that have gone into preserving and repurposing this spacious historic building, once a 1820's sawmill located between Forts Crown Point and Ticonderoga. The attention to detail and quality of the work and interior furnishings are impressive while rustic and comfortable, not to mention the fact that War Cannon Spirits produces fine small batch whiskeys and bourbons in their nearby distillery! Having worked with the owner to help organize the Burns Night dinner, I can also say that the crew is easy and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend choosing this venue for weddings and special events, it truly is a gem!”

“The Inn at Erlowest was the perfect venue for our special day. From signing to the day of, the staff was efficient, organized, and friendly in their communication - especially the onsite wedding coordinator. LeAnna and her team were so knowledgeable and good at their jobs that I never stressed about the event. All good vibes! They helped coordinate all of our details; from the night before BBQ, to table linens to photographs of two large families, keeping everything running smoothly and on time. The venue itself is breathtaking. Guests are still telling us that they’re never seen a more beautiful ceremony location, and the reception space is a perfect mix of elegant and down to earth that we were aiming for. The staff truly helped make this the best day of our lives by creating a seamless, stress-free event that allowed us to focus on celebrating with our loved ones. If anything event wrong, I have no idea! We couldn't have asked for more from our venue and highly recommend The Inn at Erlowest to any couple looking for a magical wedding location with top of their game staff. The rustic-industrial decor, with its oakwood floors, charming chandeliers, and wine barrel accents, created such an elegant and inviting atmosphere. The large windows overlooking the winery added a unique touch that our guests couldn’t stop oohing and aahhing over! The winery’s team went above and beyond to make the day memorable.
