Nikki and her team are truly the best wedding friends you could ever ask for!! I would say that Salt Heart’s photo style is somewhere between candid, dreamy, and soft - which matched the vibes we wanted for our big day. But it’s the human nature behind the lens that had me sold for our event.
Nikki was since the beginning very attentive, creative, caring, and heavily invested in understanding our love story. That level of detail was shown across our constant communication and brainstorming for particular poses/shots/backgrounds for almost a whole year. One thing that I absolutely loved about the whole process prior to meeting Nikki in person is how organized she is with forms and reminders, as well as blogs with tips and tricks depending on the type of photo shoot you’re planning to do. Additionally, there was a certain tenderness to her approach for family photos and candids that made all of our hearts melt and knew that we were going to have a wonderful time and album to look forward to.
Considering that we had an elopement followed by a Disney cruise wedding, I wanted to make sure that the team we chose were an adventurous one willing to travel with us. Nikki and Lori went above and beyond to capture every little detail - from the carefully arranged looks to the messy and crazy energy across both trips. Not only that, but they also were some of the best honorary bridesmaids I could ever ask for — not afraid of pivoting from taking pictures to bustling my dress, fixing ties, and ensuring the family would show up on cue.
Salt Heart has officially become my go-to photographer for all future big events; and both myself and the mother of the bride cannot stop singing praises for simply how awesome of an experience, product, and all-around person Nikki is. Cannot wait to book them again soon!”
