They made me (honestly all of us in the party, but this review is specifically from me/my point of view) feel like an absolute PRINCESS! I generally don’t like getting my hair and makeup done; it rarely feels like ME. That day she both made the experience and made me feel completely differently. I cannot thank them enough for the magical look and accompanying magical confidence that came with it. To be clear though, my gratitude doesn't stop there. I researched and received quotes from numerous vendors. Kiss This was not only the least expensive, but they went above and beyond to get to know me, my preferred styles and ideas, and everythinggggg else you could dream of ahead of time (I was coming from out of town so couldn't do a trial run). “Working with The Bridal Beauty Team was nothing short of extraordinary. I booked with them somewhat far out from my wedding, but my call with Kate, the owner, as a consultation was a match right off the bat. She got to know me as a human not just a bride, and took great care in my vision for my day. Gina, whom I sincerely apologized to for all of my questions and emails (lol) was SO incredibly kind and patient and made any updates to our contract or services any time I asked! Now, onto the artists: I had my trial with Jeannette, who made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, I knew we were a good match! I felt confident with her as lead artist! On the day of, Jeannette, Myriam, Jenna, Lorena and Rene all exceeded any and all expectations. There were a total of 30 (I think) services being performed and I have never seen such a “well oiled machine” of hair and makeup before. They took time and care for each service but also moved so quickly that they were finished early. We didn’t have to start at 6am with that many people, which honestly, was a huge concern. Everyone felt and looked STUNNING and I truly could not stop staring at myself after my hair and makeup were finished. Haven’t gotten all of our professional photos back, so including what I can! Including a before photo, an after selfie, an iPhone photo at the end of the night & one of my professional photos from afar so you can see how glowy and dewy she made me look!”

“Tai was my makeup artist for my wedding, and she was wonderful to work with - professional, on time, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. I was pleased with my final look and felt like a more glam version of myself, which was what I wanted. Five of us had our makeup done, and Tai took great care with each person, especially my sister who has very sensitive skin and my mom whose makeup preferences were more specific. We also loved the touch-up kits provided for each of us. Tai was open to feedback both during my bridal trial and on the wedding day itself (pictures of my trial attached - realized I didn't take a good plain make up shots on the day of). Since I don’t have much experience with makeup terminology, it took us a little longer to get to what I wanted for my eye makeup and lip color. Tai was very accommodating as we adjusted a few things together. Looking back, I think seeing some colors swatched directly on my skin earlier in the process could have helped, especially since as a non-expert, it felt like we were on different pages trying to communicate. However, that probably isn’t specific to Lovely Beauty and would’ve been the case with myself and any make up artist. In any case, Tai’s willingness to collaborate and make adjustments was appreciated. Additionally, the Lovely Beauty Team was responsive to my emails and easy to work with throughout the planning process, and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides.”

“LUX and especially Paloma were wonderful to work with as a bride! It was hard to find companies who didn't require a much higher number of services (I only truly needed myself hair and makeup, but my mom also got makeup done and my MOH her hair), so when LUX had the reviews, the photo gallery, and didn't require me to get triple the services I needed, I was sold! My trial with Paloma was awesome and she was very open to what my level of makeup comfortability was, so knowing I typically don't wear much, she started fairly light then built up as I wanted more of a "pop"! The hair and makeup turned out exactly as I had pictured, and held up fantastic throughout the day; my hair comb only decided to try falling out because the succulents weighed SO MUCH and I was leaning back against my husband for pictures. I also felt completely at ease as a curly girl wearing my natural hair and having it styled, and Paloma worked great with it!”

“So let me begin by saying that my wedding was finalized in 8 weeks and I reached out to TBC with like 6 weeks to my wedding. Normally, they start working with brides 9-12 months in advance. Considering the situation, Anne (owner) moved things around and secured me a spot with the amazing Rachel and Sieana. When I tell you these ladies are dedicated to their craft, I mean it. They were so invested in ensuring I loved my look and that it was executed to my vision. They took feedback, went above and beyond (even gifting me specific products they bought just for me) and honestly, were so grounded on such a chaotic day. You are in great hands with these two. I really loved the multiple touch points of communication, clarity, and consultation. Through out the make up process, I was asked for feedback, provided with next steps, and was able to give my own input on what I was comfortable with. Same thing with my hair!! Both lasted legit until the next afternoon hahah not a smudge for my make up and my hair—mind you it is over 30 inches long— held its curl until the next day ((and yes I was dancing like a maniac)). Ladies, I was never confused, lost, or having to coordinate my own answers which you know is a blessing during the craziness that is wedding planning. 12/10!!!”
