“Working with The Bridal Beauty Team was nothing short of extraordinary. I booked with them somewhat far out from my wedding, but my call with Kate, the owner, as a consultation was a match right off the bat. She got to know me as a human not just a bride, and took great care in my vision for my day. Gina, whom I sincerely apologized to for all of my questions and emails (lol) was SO incredibly kind and patient and made any updates to our contract or services any time I asked! Now, onto the artists: I had my trial with Jeannette, who made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, I knew we were a good match! I felt confident with her as lead artist! On the day of, Jeannette, Myriam, Jenna, Lorena and Rene all exceeded any and all expectations. There were a total of 30 (I think) services being performed and I have never seen such a “well oiled machine” of hair and makeup before. They took time and care for each service but also moved so quickly that they were finished early. We didn’t have to start at 6am with that many people, which honestly, was a huge concern. Everyone felt and looked STUNNING and I truly could not stop staring at myself after my hair and makeup were finished. Haven’t gotten all of our professional photos back, so including what I can! Including a before photo, an after selfie, an iPhone photo at the end of the night & one of my professional photos from afar so you can see how glowy and dewy she made me look!”

“Tai was my makeup artist for my wedding, and she was wonderful to work with - professional, on time, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. I was pleased with my final look and felt like a more glam version of myself, which was what I wanted. Five of us had our makeup done, and Tai took great care with each person, especially my sister who has very sensitive skin and my mom whose makeup preferences were more specific. We also loved the touch-up kits provided for each of us. Tai was open to feedback both during my bridal trial and on the wedding day itself (pictures of my trial attached - realized I didn't take a good plain make up shots on the day of). Since I don’t have much experience with makeup terminology, it took us a little longer to get to what I wanted for my eye makeup and lip color. Tai was very accommodating as we adjusted a few things together. Looking back, I think seeing some colors swatched directly on my skin earlier in the process could have helped, especially since as a non-expert, it felt like we were on different pages trying to communicate. However, that probably isn’t specific to Lovely Beauty and would’ve been the case with myself and any make up artist. In any case, Tai’s willingness to collaborate and make adjustments was appreciated. Additionally, the Lovely Beauty Team was responsive to my emails and easy to work with throughout the planning process, and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides.”

Taylor and Carolina exceeded my every expectation! What struck me most about Taylor was her ability to help create a calm, inviting atmosphere on the day of the wedding. She is such a sweet, energetic person with such a positive personality to boot. What struck me most about Carolina was her ability to recreate the exact makeup look from any inspiration picture you show her. She is such a sweet, warm person and she and Taylor are the exact kind of people you want to spend time with on what is typically a very overwhelming day! “Jaime and her team at Shimmer For You exceeded all expectations on my wedding day! We booked hair and makeup for myself, 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 2 grandmas, and 1 officiant. Pricing wise, Shimmer For You was some of the best I found in South Jersey. Service wise, all the artists were punctual, friendly, and creative. We had a horrible weather day with gusts up to 20mph with misty rain (still had photos and a ceremony outside) plus I danced the night away and my hair and makeup held up perfectly. They even went the extra mile to leave behind some extra hairspray and retouch makeup. We all pretty much got the same natural looking makeup but with a variety of hairstyles and everyone was obsessed with their look! And don’t worry, if you have a breakdown about the weather after you already got your makeup done they will make sure to fix it up! Additionally, during my trial, Jaime helped me find the perfect lip combo which I continue to wear in my day-to-day as well as consulted me on my Celiac Disease ensuring every product was gluten free.
