Maya Moves was created for the couples who don't want to look like they've taken months of classes, but also don't want to just sway in place the entire time. The 1 hour lesson starts by reviewing details about your wedding. The recommended length for the dance is short, 1:30-2m. Then, you will learn how to stand comfortably together & 3-4 signature moves (typically a dip, and other moves that fit the vibe of your song). You won't learn traditional moves, like the box step or the waltz, but rather easy moves that beginner dancers can look good doing. My father always encouraged me to pursue my passion for film, and when he passed in 2014, I started Marinelli Moving Pictures, a video production company with his name (and mine) on the masthead. A decade later, what started as a side jobs between dance gigs has turned into a full fledged business. Turns out I'm even happier behind the camera than in front of it!
