The Ponderosa is a family-owned property. Our packages offer a 3-day use of the outdoor property and a 1-day use of the Ranch on the day of your event. Make your wedding day into a getaway with your family and friends. Plenty of time and space to plan, decorate, and celebrate.

Booking 2026-2027. Restoring this massive 80 foot Barn has been a huge, but rewarding, project. While keeping its past integrity, we renovated it into a modern venue fit for luxury events. The Barn sits on 25 acres and can accommodate up to 225 guests. We have a separate ceremony patio, a lawn ceremony option as well as a cocktail hour veranda. Ceremonies can take place on the patio, the grounds or under the trees or almost anywhere couples would like to on the property. We are an a la cart venue, which means we are a blank slate for you to create the wedding of your dreams. We offer ceremony benches a wooden arbor and a good amount of decor and lighting. There are TWO 5 bedroom houses on the property for rent. These houses are perfect for your wedding parties to stay at, get ready at and enjoy your big weekend all together.

This beautiful building was built in the late 1800s as a railroad station to support the loading, unloading, and storage of freight. In 1990, it was restored to become an event and wedding venue that can easily accommodate 120 of your closest family and friends. The leather belt-driven ceiling fans, wooden phone booth, beadboard ceilings and walls, vintage baggage cart, and authentic gas-fired, pot-bellied stoves add to the charming atmosphere of this function hall. Our hall is the perfect setting for weddings & receptions. There is also the option to add our Out-of-Town Guest Suite for overnight stays. This one bedroom quarters is a one minute drive and a short walk to the venue hall.

Maine's only greenhouse event venue exclusively designed for wedding receptions and ceremonies. 2021 marks 72 years of Highland Farm’s history in Scarborough, Maine. From the beginning, the property has been operating as a greenhouse. In fact, in the 1800’s, Highland Farm was the largest supplier of cut flowers in the Northeast. Highland Farm is a family owned and operated business, and the undeniable sense of family and welcome energy is palpable the moment you step on the grounds. The saying is true here: “you come as strangers and leave as family.” The Greenhouse and The Farm has been run by 3rd generation owners, Joe and Christine since 2008, but Joe and Christine’s involvement in the farm runs far deeper than ownership. In 2009, the couple was married in one of the working greenhouses

The historic Horse & Hound is a 12-bedroom lodge in the White Mountains that is perfect for an intimate micro-wedding or grand affair. Guests have easy access to some of the northeast's best hiking, and mountain and road biking. The lodge sits on a quiet country road two hours from Boston, Portland and Burlington, so your guests will have easy access to airport. The eight-acre estate offers variety of options for wedding events, including: an exposed-beam dining room, a large paved patio, upper and lower outdoor terraces, a charming garden and greenhouse, and a horse trailer bar! Couples can also take advantage of the venue’s many photo opportunities, including among the sugar maples and the bridge over the babbling brook. The Horse & Hound provides an easy drop off and turnaround spot for buses and 55 parking spaces for wedding guests. There are a number of other accommodation options for guests not staying at the property within 5 miles.

The barn at ColdSpring Farm was built in 2008-09 and updated as a venue in 2019. It is a true post and beam barn intended originally for our horses but they prefer to be outside no matter what the weather or season! The barn is rustic yet elegant and has many lovely features to facilitate your special day! The downstairs is fully equipped for dining or dancing, cocktails or even your ceremony should rain threaten. The upstairs is bright, open and typically where dinner is served and a great place for dancing into the evening. A sweet Bride's Cottage sits near our ceremony area. It is a magical little cottage meant for the bride and her party. The ceremony area is fully of live edge benches and a beautiful cedar arbor. And finally, the patio has a large fire pit, a bocce court, rustic tables and plenty of spots for s'mores and fun throughout your day and evening.
