Just one hour from Portland and 2.5 hours from Boston, it's the perfect spot for your special day. We take care of every detail with our comprehensive services, including setup and breakdown, expert wedding venue coordination, comfortable lodging, cozy fire pits, and beautiful ceremony sites. Create the perfect lifetime memory with us, uniquely tailored to your vision. We host elegant barn receptions for up to 150 guests year-round and tented outdoor weddings for up to 250* guests from May through November. Intimate elopements and micro weddings are also available through the winter months.

With a warm and inviting atmosphere, the barn accommodates events of all sizes. For weddings with more than 150 seated guests, a tent is required for an outdoor reception to ensure everyone enjoys the stunning lakeside setting.

Most magical wedding ever!
My husband and I got married at Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford, Maine this past September, and it was truly the most magical weekend. From the moment we first visited, we knew this was the place - we were blown away by the stunning lake views and were especially drawn in by the cozy inn and barn. We stayed in the cutest little cabin separate from the main inn and our dog was able to stay with us! The owners, Nick and Jessica, are the nicest couple ever and Nick cooks one of the best briskets in New England. Jessica was amazing from start to finish - organized, kind, and so thoughtful. She made the entire planning process easy and enjoyable. When rain changed our outdoor ceremony plans, Jessica and the staff pivoted seamlessly and created the most beautiful ceremony inside the barn. It turned out even more romantic and special than we could have imagined! The staff were just as wonderful. They made sure everything ran perfectly and that our guests felt completely cared for and at home all weekend. As an anxious bride, I was so incredibly grateful for and impressed by their warmth and professionalism. We left Bear Mountain Inn with full hearts and we’re so grateful to the Orgos and their team for making our day perfect in every way! If you’re looking for a beautiful setting, amazing service, and people who genuinely want your day to be magical, this is the place. We can’t recommend it highly enough!
Perfect Fall Wedding
We had our dream fall wedding at Bear Mountain Inn in Maine, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by vibrant autumn colors, open outdoor spaces, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made the whole weekend feel magical. Jessica and Nick were incredible hosts who immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. We stayed at the inn from Thursday through Sunday, which made everything so relaxed and gave us time to really enjoy the experience with our friends and family. Everyone loved it—especially gathering around the bonfire in the evenings and playing lawn games on the beautiful lawn! Working with Andrea on coordination was so smooth and stress-free. Every detail was handled with care, and the setup was done for us so we could simply enjoy our celebration. We also loved that Bear Mountain Inn is pet-friendly—our dog was able to be part of our special day, which meant so much to us. If you’re looking for a warm, personal, and effortlessly beautiful place to get married, Bear Mountain Inn is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

My husband and I are coming up on a year of getting married at Bear Mountain in November 2024. After being caught up in the life of newlyweds and reflecting a year later- we wish we could relive the weekend all over again. We had a seamless and effortless time planning the wedding with all of the different people at Bear Mountain including Jessica. This venue was only the second stop when looking for our spot to get married. Once we pulled into the quintessential New England venue- we were sold. It also helped we just had a fresh, heavy snowfall to make everything look even more magical. On our wedding weekend, we loved that we had an extra night just to ourselves before guests arrived. The day of rehearsal we both got the best massages in the spa cottage, and had incredible personal breakfasts delivered to the couples cottage every morning. Our friends and family still rave about the wedding, the views of the lake, the bar, the timeless and classic barn with gorgeous chandeliers. The ceremony view was unmatched as the sunset. They loved the food and the cocktail hour on the patio with fire pits and heaters after the sun set. We love that we live so close and drive by occasionally when heading north. It’s also so sweet that we have the ability to return to book a sweet cozy stay in any season, but especially our anniversary. It’s also special that they host events year round that we can join as well. My husband and I recommend this venue to anyone and everyone looking for a sweet, personal, and cozy wedding venue. Thank you to Nick and Jessica for making our wedding one we will dream about as we grow old together!
