The Valentine Building was built in 1916 and originally housed the First National Bank. But now, 105 years later, we’ve given this building new life as Pocatello’s finest event center. This building screams romance! From the Corinthian pilasters, the white terra cotta, and the soaring windows, it’s like stepping back in time.

With my love and experience in interior design, my family and I built a intimate, classic styled wedding venue here in Rexburg. With a family of 8 kids, my husband, Derek, and I have learned how to juggle taking kids to school, making meals, changing diapers, working, and pretty much everything under the sun. When I introduced the concept of The Avenues to my husband and children, it wasn’t just another thing for me and my husband to juggle. There’s a white shabby-chic wall of shiplap in The Avenues, and my kids take pride in knowing they helped. As we painted, designed, and put this wedding venue together, our kids took ownership of their work and caught the vision that this is a family business.
