Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. The “sweets” business is the only business I’ve ever known. I’ve been decorating cakes professionally for over 15 years! I come from a family who loves dessert. We believe that if you eat something savory, it must follow with sweet. I have always found great joy in creating pretty little works of art that (best of all) you could EAT! So when considering my career ambitions, it came naturally that I wanted to pursue my love for serving people with personalized sweets. I believe that flavor is just as important as appearance. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I believe that if you love what you do, that joy overflows into your work.

I'm here for you! I graduated college with an associate's degree in Hospitality Management & Event Planning. Fast forward almost 6 years, I have been learning the ins and outs, the do’s and don’ts of the wedding industry. The most beautiful and rewarding feeling is watching a couple’s dream come true. Through the planning process, you form a relationship, you share laughs and sometimes tears, you get to know family & relatives, and then I get to bring everything to life.

I enjoy baking, so when my daughter needed to raise funds for her missions trip we started "baking for a cause." Our baking endeavor to raise support for my daughter's missions trip has blossomed into my passion and a full bakery business! I have found something I really enjoy doing which also allows me to incorporate my creativity. Baking for me is more than just throwing together a few ingredients. For me, it is more about creating a new design or personalizing a product. It's about doing something for someone else! We are located in the Fresh Markets of Hershey-stop by and give our products a taste!
