I can't say enough wonderful things about Lookout Mountain Club and everything they did for our wedding day! The venue was absolutely stunning, the staff incredibly helpful, and Shanelle was exceptionally kind and attentive. Whatever I needed, they handled promptly and with care. They were wonderfully flexible when I made last-minute changes and went out of their way to help ease my stress throughout the day. Even though Shanelle joined my wedding planning process late, she quickly understood my vision and made it a reality. The food was fantastic! My husband and I felt truly loved and honored, and our guests still rave about how special the wedding was. The club itself is breathtaking-an ideal, unforgettable setting for any event. Overall, our wedding day turned out beautifully, and we truly appreciated how accommodating the staff was—especially in preparing two vegetarian meals for our guests that were not originally planned. However, I do want to address the communication issues we experienced with our event coordinator, Arlene. Throughout the planning process, there were multiple instances where emails, follow-ups, calls, and texts went unanswered for up to a week at a time. This lack of timely communication created unnecessary stress during an already demanding planning period. What made this more frustrating was that my husband, whose family are members at The Ledges, consistently received much quicker responses. This resulted in him needing to step in to get timely answers, which should not have been necessary. While we are grateful for how smoothly the wedding day itself went, the communication leading up to it did not meet expectations and is an area that could be significantly improved for future clients.
