The Old Corral Venue was once a working horse barn and has been lovingly transformed into a wedding and event venue designed to bring people together. We are a romantic and classic wedding venue located in Shepherd, Michigan, just minutes from Central Michigan University. Our reception space can accommodate up to 375 guests and features a beautiful floor-to-ceiling fireplace, fairy lights, floral chandeliers, a custom bar, farmhouse tables, banquet tables, and black Chiavari chairs with leather cushions. We also offer a prep kitchen, two parking lots, and a beautifully landscaped backyard area with a privacy fence, two patios, and a pergola. One of our favorite features is that we have two private getting-ready spaces: The Ivory Suite and The Sable Room. Each suite includes a lounge, private bathroom, and changing room, giving both sides of the wedding party their own comfortable space to relax and get ready. We are also currently adding an indoor ceremony space, which will allow couples to host both their ceremony and reception at The Wright Place. This space is expected to be complete by the end of summer, August 2026.

The Milestone Barn is a premier rustic barn wedding venue in Michigan, located in beautiful Bannister, MI, just a short drive from Lansing, Saginaw, and Flint. Originally built for agricultural use and lovingly restored in 2011, our family-owned barn now serves as the perfect setting for barn weddings, receptions, proms, and other milestone celebrations. When the owners began planning their own rustic wedding, they discovered how difficult it could be to find an affordable, charming barn venue that truly captured that rustic Michigan feel. Their search inspired the transformation of their family barn into The Milestone Barn, a space designed to bring that same dream to life for other couples, without the high price tag. Since opening our doors in 2011, we’ve continued to grow and improve every year.
